Pours a medium dark amber, with no head. Light malt smell, very light. Very little hops. Better flavor than the 01, nice hop flavor up front with a crisp bitter finish. This could make a solid dinker of many in a row.

Bottle. Aroma of resiny citrus hops and some belgian yeast. Good mouthfeel. Solid malt backbone complemented well by white beer flavors and light hopping.

Dark Gold pour with a medium lived white head. Smell is fresh malt, perhaps some wheatiness, restrained touch of honey. Taste is malty, and smooth with honey soaked wheat flavor. Slightly rich and creamy yet just crisp enough to be a touch refreshing. Light bitterness at the end without much hop flavor, but a really nice lager, actually. Very enjoyable.

So I’m not generally a huge fan of the brewery...and wasn’t a huge fan of LTD 01...but I really did think this was an enjoyable beer. Clean 14 karat brew with solid 1-inch head that left ample lacing. Aroma of citrus, yeast, and caramel. Taste includes a touch of honey sweetness but exhibits grassy/citrus notes as well. Tasty, refreshing, impressive.

Bottle. Pours amber in color with a small white head. Aroma is mostly malt with a slight hoppiness. Flavor is sweet, medium malt. Slightly nutty, with a slight hop flavor as well. As the bottle itself states, "hella good". Especially for lager.

12 oz bottle. Poured bronze. Taste like a good Summer Lager. The finish was a zesty citrus.

12oz bottle. pours clear light copper with creamy white head. nose has some soft toffee and clean lager smell. flavor has some toffee, red fruits, a nice noble hop presence, toasted grains, and a clean smooth finish. med body. taste more like an ale but with a nice clean lager finish. pretty good lager here.

Aroma is strong, malty and appetizing; there is just a whisper of apple or pear. Color is a nice clear orangy amber with a fairly thick and firm head. The flavor fills the mouth with a sweet but not cloying maltiness and has hints of fruit and hops. Texture is smooth, and aftertaste has a pleasantly hoppy undertone. Satisfying.
