Better flavor than the 01, nice hop flavor up front with a crisp bitter finish. This could make a solid dinker of many in a row. golubj (1301), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Smell is fresh malt, perhaps some wheatiness, restrained touch of honey. Taste is malty, and smooth with honey soaked wheat flavor. Slightly rich and creamy yet just crisp enough to be a touch refreshing. Light bitterness at the end without much hop flavor, but a really nice lager, actually. Very enjoyable. Clean 14 karat brew with solid 1-inch head that left ample lacing. Aroma of citrus, yeast, and caramel. Taste includes a touch of honey sweetness but exhibits grassy/citrus notes as well. Tasty, refreshing, impressive. fromred2green (172), , Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours amber in color with a small white head. Aroma is mostly malt with a slight hoppiness. Flavor is sweet, medium malt. Slightly nutty, with a slight hop flavor as well. As the bottle itself states, "hella good". Especially for lager. oucontractor (3), Norman, Oklahoma, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 15, 2009 12 oz bottle. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 1, 2008 Aroma is strong, malty and appetizing; there is just a whisper of apple or pear. Color is a nice clear orangy amber with a fairly thick and firm head. The flavor fills the mouth with a sweet but not cloying maltiness and has hints of fruit and hops. Texture is smooth, and aftertaste has a pleasantly hoppy undertone. Satisfying.
