COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes the best of a brewer’s art, like jazz, can be shown by the notes you don’t play. In our case we bring that elegance of simplicity into our new limited edition lager brewed with one select barley and one of the best Northwest hops. By choosing to focus on these two single “notes” we highlight the finely balanced and complex interplay between the malt and hops. LTD 04 is a beautiful pale-golden color and brewed to highlight the elegant simplicity of both the pale malt and Willamette hops.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus and earthy aroma. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Complex soft brew.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Gold pour. First thing that stood our was the body. Definitely a lot heavier and thicker than the average lager. Aroma is spicy hops. Flavor is bread, spicy hops and alcohol with a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle: Aroma is faint of herbal hops. Taste if surpisingly full of honey, grain, grass, and spice. A bit astringent and lightly bitter. Body is medium to light. Good lager.

I really like this lager. Golden hued with a white head, the aroma was faint, perhaps a little yeasty. But very flavorful. Not overly-aggressive hops, yet still crisp and refreshing - just like a lager should be. Great body, much more mouth feel than most lagers - coated my tongue long after I finished. Higher in alcohol than I normally like (7%), but I could not tell other than by reading the label. A really good beer.

Crystal clear deep golden pour, fluffy bone white head. Aroma of crackers, grass, distant citrus, very clean. Firm medium body, soft floral hops up front, very noble tasting, pilsnerish, dry cracker, subdued tropical fruits, hops turn perfumey and bracingly bitter on the finish, very nicely balanced with the sweet malt. An exemplary specimen of a simple and straightforward style.

12 oz. bottle served in pint glass- poured a transparent firm piss color, very light carbonation, minimal white head bubbled away to nothing within moments. Aroma of some grass and just a touch of sugar sweetness. Hits the mouth with a medium body, malt is very light followed by some hops and then some sweetness. Meh-y.

Aroma - I got a grassy malty aroma Appearance - Was golden clear yellow with a white head that dimished quickly taste- was kind of bitter with some grassy hoppy flavor and able to taste the alcohol and a medium carbination. very thin beer almost like a really hold bad budweidser or something. Overall- not my favorite I would not drink again it reminded me of a bar that has not cleaned the hose on a budweiser keg in 10 years. I am sorry and I do enjoy several of Full Sails other beers.

Bottle as my daily 4 o’clock beer. Pours golden straw with a head that disappeared almost immediately. Light/medium and lively. An odd bitterness that carries over into the finish. The focus on "two single notes" didn’t work for me. Felt slight heartburn halfway through the glass.

Mildly Hazy Dark Yellow, head and lacing retention aren’t anything special while the scent is very grassy-like, the taste is mainly yeasts, sweet malts, barley and an overt sweetness from the alcohol. It’s fairly boozy tasting in flavor. The palate is light bodied but with way too much carbonation and it doesn’t help that it doesn’t feel crisp or refreshing either. It’s an average beer that is hurt by an unbalanced taste and a rather unpleasant palate.

Pours copper in color with a quickly disappearing head. Aromas of citrus and lemongrass. Malty, sweet taste up front with no bitterness.. Medium palate, with a soft carbonation and quick finish. Seems to be quite a sessionable lager for those who shy away from hoppy brews.

Pours a light golden color. Similar to a bud light but a bit darker. White foamy head that disappears quickly. Smells a bit spicy. Fairly carbonated with some lemon grass. Decent lager.
