COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A new holiday beer for our Limited Edition Lager series. LTD 06 is a black bock that is lush and full bodied with hints of roast, coffee, and chocolate in the aroma followed by flavors of caramel and figs with a long creamy smooth finish. LTD 06 is brewed as a Czech style Cerné Speciální with 2 row Pale, Munich, Caramel, and Chocolate Malts and hopped with Santiam and Perle hops. ABV 7.0% IBU 34

Cola colored pour with a small khaki head. Sweet caramel, chocolate, and dark fruit aromas. A bit of roast, maybe some smoke, coffee, and licorice. A bit of cola, too. The flavor is quite sweet up front with a lot of caramel and dark fruit. Nice chocolate, roast, and coffee notes. A bit of smoke, some licorice, and a subtle hop flavor.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark brown with ruddy glints. De minimis tan head. Aromas of roast malt, chocolate and dark fruit. Full bodied. Flavor is roast malt, coffee, chocolate, and something raisin. It’s pushing towards dry,but can’t quite get there. It seems to have noble hop in the bitter. Quite tasty.

12oz bottle. Medium tan head atop clear dark brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some milk chocolate, coffee. Taste is moderately sweet, milk chocolate, some plum, caramel, light coffee. Slightly cloying. Soft medium body, some stickiness.

Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of cocoa, caramel, toasted malt and light coffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cocoa, caramel, light coffee and a hint of earthiness with a smooth lingering cocoa finish.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a dark brown color with a thin fizzy tan head that fades almost instantly. Aroma of toffee, nuts, mild raisin and chocolate. The taste is chocolate, toffee, mild nuts. Thin-medium bodied, high carbonation. Solid beer .

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a dark brown head with a brown head. Rich cocoa, anise, light caramel, a touch nutty, herbal aroma. Kind of chewy, chocolate covered raisin, grassy, caramel, dark fruity, light toffee flavor. Not bad.

Pour on tap, dark reddish brown pour with thin white head, aroma brought dark roast, dark fruits, hints of toffee, slight biscuit in there as well with a touch of yeast, hints of cocoa in there, nice spicy notes as well. Taste is a mix of dark fruits, some roasted malts into a bit of coffee, cocoa, slight earth, spice, finishing with some more fruity notes, pretty sweet and dry.

bottle. cola brown with a small head, less than average retention. stewed caramel malt, solvent phenols and fusel alcohols in the nose with a sweet caramel syrup malt smell and touches of beach sand, sulfur and minerals. pasty and rough malt with distinct burnt grain harshness and a malt liquor petroleum / ethanol flavor. acidic and chalky and pasty and sourish cola-flavor malts all over it. pretty bad.

Bottle. Very dark pour with minimal head. Very nice aroma and taste of sweet chocolate, dark fruit, and mild roast. Decent heft to the palate. I’m enjoying this.
