On tap at Front Door. light and citrusy, not as malty as most heller bocks. Easy drinker, lots of citrus in nose and flavor.

Wittales (564) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 3, 2014
Appearance was clear light gold with lasting white rocky 2 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are slight sweet pale malt with a noble-like spicy earthy hop, no alcohol with clean lager yeasts. Taste is simple sweet pale malt backbone with just the right amount of herbal spicy hops, great balanced. Palate was smooth creamy CO2 with light-medium body, easy balanced average length finish. A great palate cleanser of a beer with 7%, feels lighter.

This beer is alright. I got a great price on it. It got kind of a copper taste and a few hops.

Yellow pour with a medium sized head. Notes of lemon, dirt, raw grains, and whipped cream. Just ok

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours crystal clear orange with no head to speak of and some glass carbonation. The aroma is pretty flat with some light grain, corn, hay. The taste is really bland.. lightly biscuity but just not much going on.

A golden body with a white head that had good retention and lace. Aroma had a doughy malt presence upfront , a slight floral note. There was a mild astringency to the aroma. Flavor was mildly sweet hints of bread and some lemon notes. A warming sense in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
