3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
650 ml bottle from Bev4less. pours a dark mahogany brown with amber highlights. The head is off-white, creamy, ample and recedes to 1/8 inch and holds. The aroma is medium in strength with coffee, dark fruits, molasses and almonds. The flavor is balanced with roasted malts, dark fruit and coffee. The mouthfeel is just a touch on the thin side, carbonation is adequate. The finish is medium in duration and dry. Overall: This is a very nice brown ale and one of my favorite Full Sail beers to date.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Nice dark color, with aroma of coffee. Good lacing. Maybe not quite as sweet as a nut brown could be, a just a smidgen thin on the body. But overalll itís very good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a 22oz. bottle purchased locally. Aroma is malty and full of dark fruit, plum and raisin. Color is a deep brown with ruby highlights with a small tan head. Flavor has a touch of toast followed by some rich maltiness and then a touch of roasted grain. Medium body and mouthfeel that dries in the finish from the bitterness and roast. Very clean and full rich flavor. Almost like a lighter brown porter.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A beautiful auburnish brown, with a small off white head that recedes from three fingers to one. Strong toffee nose, with some roasted coffee that follow onto the palate with a sweet creamy mouthfeel, lots of different nuttiness is coming through here, almonds and hazelnuts. Its a bit one dimensional, and not overly impressive, but just enough to keep its head above water, enjoyable enough, but not something I would purchase again.

Pours ddep brown/mahogany with a 1 cm tall tan head. Rich toffee and cookie-dough aroma with nuts. Lovely taste. Malted chocolate, hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, and a little roasted coffee. Kind of like "Chock Full O Nuts" in a beer. Nice.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very deep brown with a reddish hue. Hazelnut and malted milk aroma with moderate milk chocolate and some pipe smoke (pretty sure this is my description of every brown aleís aroma). Softly malty, roasted aroma with some tartness, more nuttiness. Soft carbo, light bitterness and pleasant lingering aftertaste. This a nice one - almost more like a light stout than a brown ale. This isnít my favorite style, but Iím not sure thereís uch more I could ask for here.
