Commercial Description:
This delightful brew is a medium-bodied pale ale that is balanced to perfection. It has a fresh hop aroma and a mild sweetness that finishes crisp and clean. This pale ale is brewed in the American style using two Northwest hop varieties, Centennial and Columbus. The fresh hop flavor is balanced with 2-row Pale and Crystal malts

Hmm... malty and sweet, maybe a little too much. Some lovely hop aroma, and bitterness on the palate, unfortunately it’s kind of a bland metalic bitterness. Seems like maybe some cheaper malt in the backbone of the beer. Golden in color, thin head, high carbonation.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy copper color with a small white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is caramel, floral hops, and sweet fruit. The taste is a smooth sweet hop with a malt finish. A good session beer easy to drink a great pale ale from full sail.

Bottle, poured a lovely gold-amber color with a small amount of head that lasted for awhile. The prominent smell of this brew is definitely the hops, but there are also some notes of honey, grapefruit and caramel in there. The taste is also very hop oriented, slightly bitter up front with a very mild caramel and malt sweetness. Finishes crisp and slightly bitter, but the lingering flavor in the mouth is more on the grapefruit or citrus side. A pretty good brew for this style, which I am not too fond of.

Nice dark gold pour with a foamy white head. Sweet roasty malt and citrusy hop aroma. Similar flavor, with the hops coming through nicely. A bit bitter on the finish. Nicely carbonated and lively on the palate. A good refreshing pale ale.

On tap @Hood river hotel. Clear, dark golden body with a medium size, creamy off-white head. Gentle hoppy aroma with hints of caramel. Flavor is sweet malt with a gentle balanced bitterness, hints of caramel. Medium body and a fine finish. Nice and very refreshing.
