cking (702), North Canton, Ohio, USA Mar 14, 2008 Full Sail has recently popped up in my area so I thought I’d start things off with a sixer of their Pale Ale. Golden copper pour with a creamy white head and nice lacing. Malty aroma with a sprinkling of fruity/floral hops...would like a more aggressive & citrusy aroma. Full bodied, fresh and filling. Real drinkable and balanced. Caramel and bread malt flavors with lightly bittering hops. Peppery and floral, but not overly fruity. Unique from most of the other mainstream APA’s.
colemgm8 (342), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Jul 4, 2008 bottle. pours a deep golden color with a normal white head... slight hop and malt aroma... smooth and creamy body over the palate. very soft. lingering bitter finish, but not full of hops. not bad... a good summer session beer. pepperford (59), robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA Jun 24, 2008 aroma is malty and just a bit doughy. the flavor is soft with very little hop presence. not bad, but not great Delirium (403), Santa Cruz, California, USA Jun 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden with a moderate white head. Aroma is biscuity yeast, mild nondescript hops, and some malt. Flavor is similar. Not bad, but kind of run-of-the-mill and weak. hop_lover (100), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA Jun 11, 2008 This is one of my least favorite pale ales. I can’t tell they used Centennial and Columbus hops. Usually if a brewer uses these hops, the beer will be a lot more hoppy. I can’t taste much hoppiness. A dissapointment. nearbeer (1046), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jun 10, 2008 121 oz, bb 090608. Clear shiny copper with a small, fleeting head. Spicy-sweet toasted wood and nut, with some light caramel apple and alcohol in the aroma. Flavor is wood, caramel, cardboard, apple, and toasted nut. Malty-nutty aftertaste is the best part of this beer. Light-medium body is frothy, tingly, slightly astringent, and dry.
