3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 LtDan (1415) - Los Angeles County, USA - OCT 22, 2009
Appearance: Pours an amber yellow clear gold with almost no head.
Aroma: A nice mixture of dry malts and earthy/citrusy hop. It’s not huge, but it’s noticible.
Taste: Bitter earthy hops, dry malt, metallic hop notes, and a fruity twang in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin and metallic.
Overall: Not one of my favorite American Pale Ales. It’s a tad too bitter for me.

Bottle. Outstanding pale ale - clear light amber pour, small white head with some lacing. Aroma of floral hops and very slight pine. Medium palate, carbonation is perfect for the style. Taste is floral, mild citrus, mild resin, and a touch of caramel. Terrific everyday drinker - great hop character with a super clean finish.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 rjplumer (254) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - JAN 7, 2012
Amber caramel with a light haze color with an off white slim head. Mild sweet hop aroma. Subdued bitterness with a touch of sourness. Clean taste with a mild dark fruit taste that finishes clean. Like an IPA but with out the heavy bitterness. Nice balance. Well done.

Serving: Twist top i feel like a kid again. I liked this a lot more the first time I had it. Pours a medium yellow with a white carb head that quickly disappears leaving the bear looking flat. Little to smell, kind of sweet. Sweet American pale ale. Moderate hops and carbonation, very light Carmel malt, possibly some raisin flavor. Finishes okay, this need’s to be less expensive I don’t really feel like I’m drinking a craft brew.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 KajII (344) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - JAN 4, 2012
Bottle. The pour was a crystal clear sparkling light to medium amber with a slight yellow hue and a head that was average sized (1-2 finger), fizzy and white and had fair lacing.
The aroma was kind of mild of a grain malt, a citrus hop and a musty scented yeast with a hint of caramel and grapefruit.
The taste was just a tad sweet and acidic with a mild caramel note at first and then became a little bitterer and a touch hoppy with a definite note of citrus (grapefruit) at the end. The flavor hung around for a little while after the swallow leaving a bit of bitterness to linger on.
Mouthfeel was a shade or two above light in body and dry but also watery in texture with a nice lively carbonation.
Overall a decent Pale Ale, one that goes down easy and finishes nice...

Smell, starting off not so great. Good amount of wet dog, metallic, odd malt flavor. Color is pretty much a nice looking PA color, good amount of creamy head, bonus! Taste is very earthy, with some underlying spice. Medium mouthfeel and semi dry finish. Overall, just ok. enjoyability 2.5/5.

Pours clear golden, slight amber color with a thick white head. There’s little bubbles all over the inside of the glass. Aroma is of malts, hops, corn, bark, and a little grain. Flavor is of malts, some earthiness, orange peel, hops, grain, and some corn. Leaves a dry hop finish.
