22 Fluid Ounces of Incredibly Radiant IPA, Brewmaster Reserve 2008.
Into a Duvel glass, just for fun. Clear, bright, yes, radiant reddish hue, huge, lace-leaving head. Myriad fruit associations abound in the aroma, some cherry, some apple, orange peel and lemon below that...a little apricot and peach. Light spice.
Tasting...big, juicy malt, huge hop bitterness. The hops grip the play and plow all over the tongue, sticking it out for the long haul.
Medium bodied, long finish, ever-lasting hop bitterness. But the flavor, while good, is not among my favorites. Quite nice, though, despite my preferences.

Very nice caramel color. Flows over the tongue like a cool waterfall and leaves the taste buds dancing like a Latin dance party. robforbes (1090), Bremerton, Washington, USA

Of the specialty IPAs from Full Sail, this one lands in the middle. Not quite a full as the Wreck The Halls IPA, but better bite than the Son Of Spot. AgentSteve (1374), SF Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 21, 2008 Pours an attractive deep mahogany with a full, tan, frothy head that leaves substantial lacing. The nose is interesting, with floral and pine hops, but also an herbal funk to it. The flavor is also unique, with a decent shot of caramel sweetness along with that same funk that’s in the nose. Smooth on the palate. WisconsinBeer (521), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 20, 2008 Bottle. Appearance is well carbonated pale orange color with a decent head when pouring which dissipates to a minimal foam after settling. Flavor is mildly sweet malt followed by a crisp grapefruit and orange citrus hop aspect. Finish is a nice lingering bittering hop. Like the prodigal son always comes back, I could see myself coming back to drink this beer again. Nice IPA here. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 19, 2008 Hood river Tap room - Amber colored with some golden highlights> lovely fluffy white head leaving behind some lacing that just coats the glass. Floral and citrus hoppiness in the nose. Agressive hops on the palate, but not overly bold. Just leaves a lovely sticky presence on the palate. Strong malt background tries its best to keep up, but struggles a bit, overall it seems to achieve a good balance. A great Summer IPA. BOLTZ7555 (1080), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Golden sunset color with minimal off-white head. Aroma and flavor is citrus & pine...but nothing to write home about (actually had a tough one writing this!!!)
