Aroma is hoppy citrus and pineapple with a slight sweet aroma. Color is a honey orange with a fluffy off-white head. Brilliantly clear. Flavor is fiimly bitter up front. Toasty malt flavors balance clean with the hops. No sweetness in the finish. Smooth, easy drinking, crisp and dry. A very well done IPA. stchloe (482), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Wow - Full Sail FINALLY gets an IPA right! Full of good floral hops balanced by bitter ones. A nice woody, grassy flavor dominates this wickedly dry IPA. A little acidic on the finish, as was mentioned. yespr (12020), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 7, 2008 Pours clear golden amber, lacing white head. Smooth and slight hoppy aroma. Fruity hoppy and peachy to grapefruity initial flavour. Light acidic touch towards the finish. Smooth and fruity lingering finish. mgumby10 (1850), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Pours a clear amber, with a medium, fluffy, off white head. Smells of light hops, some malt presence, andlight citrus. The flavor has its own subtle hoppiness to it, with the malts and fruits really coming alive. They almost take to the forefront here. The hops fight back in the finish though, leaving a cool, cris bitterness in the aftertaste. Decent little IPA, but not great though. SamGamgee (1433), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 6, 2008 22oz bottle, 2008 reserve. Pours a nice looking copper with great head retention. Burst of hops as I pour it into my pint glass, then some caramel. And... its a Full Sail. Thats about the most I can say. There is a hard mineral water signature that I find makes all of their beers taste the same, and this is no different. Hoppier than their regular IPA, and a little tastier overall. Long and firm bitter aftertaste that gets stronger with time. Light bodied with prickly carbonation, that I assume is helping that head stay alive (and I’ve only got a cm of beer left). Decent lighter, bitter IPA, but that signature house flavor holds it back for me. ilherps (226), Carbondale, Illinois, USA
