Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting light amber head. Aromas of passion fruit, earthiness, light pine and light carmel. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of earthiness, passion fruit, light pine and a hint of carmel with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

22 oz bomber. Orange hazy color, Dry hop flavor that strips the tongue. Leaves a clean hoppiness. Quite dry finish. It’s not my favorite style, but for a hopheads, it’s super.

[1692-20080906] Tap. Lemon and grass hops aroma. Clear, light amber orange body with a long creamy white head and some lacing. Bitter grains and lots of grainy lemon hops in the flavour. Bitter medium body is rough. Fairly simple with not a lot going on but drinkable.

On tap at the San Diego Brewing Company. Rich orange in color with a milky, off white head. Aroma of fruit, orange/citrus, caramel and earth. Flavor of toffee and caramel up front, with some grassy/earthy/citrus hopping in the finish. Decently bitter for the style. Lingering flavor. A solid, but probably average, version of the style.

Poured orange/amber with a thich two-finger head and great lacing. Strong aroma of citrus hops. Hops also dominated the taste, with a gentle caramel flavor underneath. A bit of a watery mouthfeel, but great carbonation and a crisp clean hops aftertaste. The epitome of a West Coast IPA.
