Session Fest is a Czech-style strong lager (gotta love the Czechs!) called polotmavé or literally "light dark or semi-dark." Brewed with 2 Row Pale malt, Munich malt, Caramel malt and Wheat malt, and hopped with a blend of Glaciers and Cascades, Session Fest has a medium-to-full body balancing candy caramel and full malt flavors that are underscored by a spicy hoppiness that provides a nice perfume with citrus and pine overtones and a long clean finish.

11 oz "stubby" bottle. Pours a orange/copper color, thin head, no lacing. Aroma is mostly a smooth caramel malt. Flavor is caramel malt, some grassy hop notes. Simple, drinkable, decent. Plus the stubby bottles are kind of fun.

Can't complain about this one. Nothing terribly special about it, just an everyday drinkable beer for the winter season.

Aroma is malt forward. Pours a reddish amber with a rapidly disisapating white head. There was more taste to this beer than I expected. Toasted malts, hints of nuts, grain, and a nice touch of spice in the finish. Medium body with minimum carbonation. Overall, I was surprised . I really enjoyed this beer.
