3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hopdog (7657) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 13, 2011
11oz, stubby bottle. Twist off cap. Deeper golden, amberish, color with a smaller sized head. Grains, toast, and some grassiness in the aromas. Tastes of grains, caramel, with a trace of pine and some citrus.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 notalush (4174) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 12, 2011
Dark copper - fizzy, short-lived head - nose of toasted bread, light caramel maltiness, very light esters - moderately creamy carbonation - flavor is medium sweet, with light bitterness and toasty grain character to balance - however, there is a slight huskiness and the malts are a little rough/harsh on the tail end - the light nature of the beer makes these flaws hard to ignore - I want to enjoy this a lot more than I actually do.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Sway (9) - New Hampshire, USA - NOV 10, 2011 does not count
Aroma: Piny, not much too it.
Appearance: Great golden/orange hue with a pinky fingertip head that slowly dissipates to a thin wispy cloud above the beer.
Taste: Excellent. Finely crafted, the carbonation is just right. Dry malty taste gives way to piny, but not overwhelming hops. Finally, it finishes off with the bready malt after taste that leaves my palate feeling refreshed.
Overall, a great sessionable lager! Best part is its 6.2% and you wouldn’t even notice.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 troopie (1989) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - NOV 10, 2011
Bottle. Red pour with thin white head. Moderate lacing. Aroma is sweetish for a lager, but has a lekker grassy note. Well bodied. Nicely balanced. Good finish. Inexpensive.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jefcon (1205) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - NOV 8, 2011
No one was happier than I to see a 12-pack of green stubby Session bottles in the refrigerator case at the store. Pours an alluring cloudy red with lacing and very light aromas of pine and caramel malt. Well-balanced on the palate, showing pine and pine cone hops and malts. Woodsy and rustic, clearly made with love, and eminently drinkable. A great companion for the winter months. Thanks, Full Sail!
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 GreatLibations (1831) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - NOV 7, 2011
Pours dingy copper with a good head. Smells and tastes of malty sweetness with a bit of spice. Not balanced. Couldn’t session this one.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 LtDan (1676) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - NOV 6, 2011
Appearance: Pours a clear dark amber with a super thin head.
Aroma: Malt sweetness, fresh grassy hop.
Taste: Toasted sweet caramel like malt. Modest hop spicy bitterness. Light bread crust too.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with prickly bubbles.
Overall: Lighter than Wassail Ale, but a little strong for a "session" beer. Super drinkable.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 adnielsen (6213) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - NOV 5, 2011
Bottle @ home. When I picked this up, I figured out was a festbier aka a märzen but it’s not. Maybe "fest" for the holidays? Somewhat hazy, burnt orange appearance with a nice, tan head. Toasty caramel, munich malty, hay, grassy, a touch citrusy hoppy aroma. Medium to full bodied. Caramel, Munich malty dominated flavor with a mild grassy, a touch piney/citrusy hoppy, lightly nutty flavor with a note of spiced gingerbread. Very sessionable and overall quite solid.
