COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Session Fest is a Czech-style strong lager (gotta love the Czechs!) called polotmavé or literally "light dark or semi-dark." Brewed with 2 Row Pale malt, Munich malt, Caramel malt and Wheat malt, and hopped with a blend of Glaciers and Cascades, Session Fest has a medium-to-full body balancing candy caramel and full malt flavors that are underscored by a spicy hoppiness that provides a nice perfume with citrus and pine overtones and a long clean finish.

Clear & light amber, frothy but quick head. Carmel and chocolate roast malt in the nose. Bittersweet. Middle is continues the roasted malt ride, not too dark. Finish starts sweet, but dries out the back. Balanced for the alcohol level.

Thin tan head thats short lived with little lace left behind.Bright, copper/amber colored brew. Nose of grains and a light grassiness with a hint of sulfur. Med/light body with a lightly prickly carbonation, touch oily.Almost dry malt flavors, caramel, grain and a faint bit of spices. Lightly sweet finish with no bitterness. Ahhhhh yes, Polotmavy, Yum!

Bottle. Pours medium amber with an off white head that quickly recedes to the edge of the glass where it clings. Scent is caramel malt, dark fruit. Alcohol in the nose. Taste is sweet, just a touch of pine hop and a mineral finish.

11 oz bottle thanks to WillRunForBeer. Polotmavy tick! Pours a clear amber color with a small head that quickly fades to a ring. Aroma is a mix of pale lager, light fruity candy and very faint citrus. Taste is sorta bland. A light fruitiness added to a pale lager. Ok overall.

Pours an amber red with very little off white head. Aroma is bready with some very mild spice that hides in the background. The flavor has light caramel hints and more bready qualities.

11oz stub bottle. Drank right out of the bottle. Spicy hippiness, rich with lots of caramel malt filling in the balance. Very drinkable.

12 pack from that small liquor store down the road. pours bright red, see-through with a tall white head. Aroma is sweet, caramelly, a little corny with small nips of hops. The palate is fairly light. Sweet malts make up the flavor with modest nips of hops. I’d like the cascades up to come out more. The finish is quick and bready. Things get a little sticky after a few sips. It’s pretty clean. A no frills, no flaws lager.

Back to all styles rated. Lol. Light amber pour, white head. Malty aroma with a hint of crackers and hops. Sweet malty flavor up front, lager flavors, pale hops. Refreshing and pretty easy to drink but nothing spectacular.
