Bottled. Pours a clear golden color. Aroma is sweet and somewhat grainy. Sweet malty flavor. A little bit of graininess. Grainy bitter finish. More flavor than macro swill.

Are you kidding me? It’s about time an American Craft Brewer got the pilsner right! This is what Lagers were meant to be before the big guys started using corn and rice, and the imports started advertising to the cattle. Nice aroma, golden appearance, phenomenal flavor, thicker than domestics, but by no means a heavy craft. When you are hot and thirsty and not in need of big craft beer, this is just the ticket. The packaging is classic and I love the Ro Sham Bo bottle caps. A fun beer perfect for the BBQ thirst quenching season. Import style pilsner made by an American Brewery. They definiteley got this one right!!!

This beer tastes almost exactly like what you would expect from the packaging. Excellent hot weather summer beer, with just the right amount of body for its style. Crisp, refreshing, well-hopped, with a nice, thirst-quenching bitterness on the finish. I’m not usually a fan of Full Sail’s beers but this one bucks the trend.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 herbjones (742) - Orange, California, USA - JUL 23, 2005
Had a twelver of this at a bbq tonight. Almost embarassed to say I enjoyed it. A straight up lager that is not cloyingly sweet and can be pulled out of a steel tub filled with ice. Perfect for a 95+ degree day. Also gotta love the rock, paper, scissors on the bottle caps.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2006 Robust deep orange color, which is odd for a lager like this, and it’s actually got some body. Thicker thanexpected, oily and full of corn and sour bad oranges or something... a gimmick bottle for the baby-boomers, though I have grown to like this one more over time. It’s been a great introduction beer to a lot of my friends.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 FlacoAlto (3155) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUL 14, 2005
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2006 Pours a brilliantly clear yellow-gold color and is topped by a frothy off white head. The aroma is lightly spicy with notes of lemon, herbs, and a bit of sweet grain. The taste is light and spritzy with a spicy hop note to it and a subtle bitterness in the finish. This beer is nice and light, it does have a bit more flavor than your standard macro (actually quite a bit more), but it still is not packed with flavor. It is certainly quite quaffable, and has a certain appeal to it, especially on a hot summer afternoon.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Garbbled (24) - Oregon, USA - JUL 10, 2005
This beer was designed as a microbrew for the macrobrew audience. With that type of oxymoron as the end goal, it is difficult to know what to expect. The result, Session is pretty good. Not as sickly sweet as the average macro, and not as granola as a micro.

11oz stubby bottle. Orange gold color. Large white foamy head with strong lacing. Aroma is grassy and grainy with a touch of sweetness. A medium bodied Premium lager. Malts are fruity and sweet, grassy and a little spicy. A nicely balanced lager. Smooth taste. Crisp, clan and refreshing. Nice lager, good flavor with no off or typical corn or rice lager taste. Would make a good session summer beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Fairly grainy malt nose. Flavors are clean, nothing jumps out, it isn’t really bland though. Just some light and simple malts with a hint of hops. I dig the retro bottle and it is an appropriately named beer.
