Pale, clear, golden yellow with thin, quickly dissipating head. Grassy, somew hops, a little skunky on the nose. Decent American lager. Easy to quaff.

Pours a light golden ale with a little white foam on the surface and brilliant clarity. The nose strikes me initially like a bohemian pilsner with earthy hops and sweet, corn like malts. Really a light and sweet nose here with just a hint of rose like florals. Flavor is of faint grain and cardboard; not much else for me. Medium bodied for style with standard hi carb and a semi dry finish. The beer is nice looking and smelling, but the flavor kills itís appeal for me greatly. Although I wouldnít turn it down over many others, itís not special.

So utterly average that it doesnít warrant a lengthy review. Does 5.1% even qualify as a "session" beer. Expensive version of Budweiser.

A íPremium American Lagerí style brew.
Aroma: Moderately strong sweet grainy malt, corn. No aroma hops noted. Fruity character from lager yeast.
Appearance: Brilliantly clear deep gold with steady streams of bubbles. Moderate stand of loosely formed off-white head drops quickly.
Taste: Well rounded flavors of sweet clean Pils/pale malt, corn, fruity yeast character. Low, smooth, bitterness. No hop flavor noted. Balanced toward sweet malt.
Palate: Moderately dry finish with low bitterness lingering. Medium-light body, slightly creamy, medium-high carbonation. Slight carbonic bite.
Overall: A fairly well crafted example of a simple style. Cleanly fermented, balancing sweet flavors of light malt and corn against high carbonation and dry finish making for fairly refreshing "sessionable" brew. Could be improved by offsetting malty sweetness with a bit more bittering hops.I am rating this based on the style intended by the brewer and how well they captured itís typical essence (a step up from Bud, etc.), not just whether I like this kind of beer or not or whether I think more complex, esoteric, robust, etc. craft brews are more favorable.

Bottle. Clear. Pale gold. Pours with thick white head that dissipates quickly. Initially a lifted malty nose that fades. Light malty nose with some hay and citrus. Very neutral. Off dry. Not bitter or sour. Malty flavor.Light carbonation.

Fizzy yellow beer with creamed corn nose and creamed corn taste, no finish, this is just horrible. I need to drink something like this every so often just help provide a good basis of comparison of what is good and what is crap.

Red Stripe bottle. Rather flat. No reason for much score on aroma or appearance. That being said, rather decent flavor. Not expecting much from a Full Sail trying to be kewl with a different bottle, but the taste is actually decent. That still leaves a bad score, and taste on the palate, but hey, if F.S. wants to make a decent low end beer, they might have found their niche. </sarcasm>

This stuff is a notch or two above the macro lagers, but that is about the best I can say for it. This should return to port for repairs.

11oz bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a moderate white head that settles into a thin ring. Aroma is clean malts with light fruity esters and a grassy herbalness. Taste is light sweet malts and dry grassy grains, with a herbal and spicy hop bitterness that comes across in the finish. Very clean and crisp.
