3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle Aroma was mildly hoppy. Poured a clear light copper color with a robust white head. This tasted a lot like a garden variety IPA. It was drinkable and would do in an pinch.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not thrilled with this skunky beer with zero head and sour taste. Judging by the other reviews, looks as though I got a bunk bottle, but this beer tasted like cotton candy meets baking soda on a hot day in the south. BOO!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
smells fantastic and looks great, and on first taste it is also great. however, the aftertaste is a little weird and off-putting. each subsequent sip tastes great. but the funky aftertastes only amplifies and ultimately reduces my opinion of the beverage.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I had it at The Falling Rock in Denver right after Chris tapped it. Amber hazy appearance with a big white head. Aroma is malty and fruity, but not really hoppy. Same with the flavor. There are enough hops to balance but not enough for an I2PA. Apparently all English hops were used in this beer so it does not have the huge Northwest hop character we have become accustomed to in an I2PA. Good beer though.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2003 vintage. Peachy cloudy color with small off-white head, low carbonation. Very malty aroma, apricot smell. In the flavour, a definate apricot and malt taste, and quite astringent, which was surprising. It has a nice lingering bitterness. As it warms, it becomes very alcohol-tasting. Probably this is better fresher. I wasn’t overly impressed, among my least favorite Imperial IPAs I’ve tried. What this one did wrong, Rogue Imperial IPA gets right for a very similarly constructed brew.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
2006 Vintage. This is really dissapointing for an imperial/double IPA. Really, where does a barleywine end and an imperial IPA being. It is alcoholic and bitter but there is no hop aroma, it is all malt! If you are going to brew a double IPA it better be like chewing on raw hops or just go ahead and call it an old ale or barleywine. It has an odd combination of bitterness but cloying sweetness at the same time. Rather dissapointing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A fine beer but nothing special. A little sweeter than i like from my IIPA’s but there are definate hops here. Its fine and drinkable i am just not in love

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Poured a burnt straw color, almost reddish coppery, with a healthy two-finger head. Hoppy citrus nose, similar to grapefruit. Sweeter than I would like, with incredible "springy and light" flavor. Spry, maybe? Regardless, I don’t think this is a true Imperial IPA, but its really good. Recommended, and available for trade.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Has a great aroma, pineapple, citrus and pine needles. Good copper color to it. Nice double IPA flavor, but not quite as bold as I like.
