Orange, almost no head. Big hop aroma, big hop flavor. On the thin side, and unbalanced toward bitter, with overriding citrus notes. I like it. Thanks to decaturstevo for this one!

Small sample from a 22 ounce bottle provided by Eyedrinkale, pre-pubcrawl in the bar at the Best Western, RBSG Minneapolis. Pours a bright, effervescent amber-gold, with a touch of head....fresh floral aroma, hoppy, lightly caramelized malts, very bright....sweet front, almost too sweet for a moment, but dries out and becomes extremely bitter by the finish....too dry, chalky and somewhat astringent at the end....ehh. Thanks Mike.

Copper with a medium head. Strong citrus aroma with some caramel and bread. Lots of bitterness, focused on citrus and pine flavors. Enough malt to make sure it doesn’t become pure hop juice, but it’s definitely screaming bitter.

Bomber from jake65 - thanks! Sweet and deliciously fruity aroma, orange and tangerine with apricot and grapefruit. Hoppy and alluring. Tropical! Bright orange pour with strong visible carbonation and a huge creamy rocky yellow-tinged off-white head. Extremely bitter taste, bone-dry with a bready resin and earthy, woody tones. More pine than fruit in the mouth, with a touch of citric acid. Full-bodied but can seem lighter at times, sharp and prickly but not harsh, with a dry hoppy end. No sign of alcohol, straightforward with good-tasting burps. Aggressive and uncompromising - perhaps a bit too much so.

Appearance: Pours a clear, orangish body with a thin ring of white bubbles.
Smell: Musky, citrusy aroma with some caramel and pale maltiness lurking in the background.
Taste: Slight pale and caramel maltiness with a mild sweetness. Leafy, pithy grapefruit hop flavor with a moderate bitterness and a bearable amount of acidity. Finishes as dry as one would expect.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Brisk carbonation.
Drinkability: Sometimes I feel absurb asking a West-coast IPA for a bit more malt, but I’ll ask it anyway.

A flavorful, full bodied ipa. Cloudy gold color and moderate sized head. Simple west coast style hop aroma and hop flavor, with a sweet malt base. Better than average for the style, medium bodied and very nice.

Bottle: Big fruity aroma with moderate mango, light pineapple, yeast, and faint caramel. It pours a hazy amber with a small white head that leaves behind spotty lacing. The flavor starts with a quick fruitiness and faint yeastiness. It finishes with a moderate grapefruit hopiness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

15 DEC 07, Southeast YeHa. 22oz bottle. Light amber color. Aroma of sweet pine and blissful hoppiness. Flavor of malts hidden by big bitterness. Fun beer with lots of hops.
