4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral hops and fruity malts. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are very fruity (grapefruit and apricots) and fairly sweet. Hops are aggressive; grapefruity, floral and fairly bitter. Juicy big bold hoppiness, yet there is a nice malt backbone to it. Very smooth taste. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
You know, this beer really did it for me. It is amazingly floral in itís aroma. Taste is IPA all the way, pine, citrus and some bubblegum. Malt is a runner-up, but isnít that how itís supposed to be? I guess itís personal preference but this one does everything well from my perspective.

Light hoppy aroma. Very fizzy mouthfeel. Body is ok, could be bigger, stronger. Slight bitter hoppy finish. I was expecting more.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bronze clear color, sticky light head & lacing. The aroma is citrusy with grapefruit, nice hops, light caramel. The flavor is earthy and musty with some hops, balanced notes. The tail is balanced, creamy, more bitterness.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The beer after its dispensing from the 22-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass an undarkened burnished copper color, the head piled majestically upon the body, the texture creamy and the color a beauteous light tan as it dissolves ever so slowly the lace forms a thick and glutinous sheet to obscure the glass. Nose is all about hops, sweet malt and a nice citrus like crispness polishes off this treat for the eyes and nose. Start is ambrosial, rich in malt, the top middling in its feel to the palate; finish has a distinct acidity, the hops potent in their spicy bite, the after taste sweet and dry with a continuance of the hops spicy bitterness, a delightful brew on this hot Arizona summer Sunday, Cheers Yíall!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2006 Rerate: Funny how the palate changes over time. Spicy, floral and citric hopping; nice, creamy body. Decent IPA, but a little sharp, but one of their better offerings.
Original Rating: Huge citrus hopping (nose & flavor), full bitterness all the way, slightly floral....some balancing sweetness, but a bit much for me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Ruby/mahogany pour with an off white head and spotty lacing. Fresh Cascade hop aromas. Bitter citrus and a small malt backing. Flavors contain a huge amount of bitter hops, floral as well. Orange or lemons hanging about as well. Great malt backing.

On tap: Dark amber color. Fruity hop flavor, well balanced by some bready matlts. A light caramel flavor near the finish. Grassy bitter hop finish. Not bad.
