12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark and unclear brown with a two inch tan head that lasts. Taste is of fruit, hops, caramel, pine, grapefruit and citrus. Similar aroma. Has a mostly full and wet body. The finish is mostly clean and a tad warming. A decent beer to kick of the winter months.

Ruby colored and clear, nice head, good lacing. Thereís an awesome malty base to the nose and flavor, along with some sweet fruitiness, a nice little bit of subtle chocolate, and a crisp, clean, deliciously strong bitterness. Really for a winter warmer, I havenít ever tasted one so bitter, and I love it! Itís amazing, this is perhaps my favorite beer in the style ever. Drinkability is off the charts high, and Iím going to have to make the trip (somewhat across town) to the big liquor store where I found it, to make sure I get some more before it runs out. Full sail, hats off to you. Iím a fan of your beers, but this one is really outstanding, the best youíve made yet.

Full Sail Wassail has a medium, cream-colored head, a dark, brown-red appearance, lots of bubble streams, and pretty heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of rich, sweet, malty, chocolaty, and vegetative smell, and the flavor is of all that, with dark bread crust, chocolate powder, fruit, and lots of strong residual bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and a bit slick, and Full Sail Wassail finishes semi-dry, rich, delicious, and easy drinking. Overall, this is a most excellent Winter warmer. RJT

Pours deep brown with a slight rosy hue. Aroma is sweet and sticky with some dark raisin and prune fruits. There is also a bit of a musty tartness that is not wholly off-putting. Flavor is incredibly nutty. The fruit is still there but become much more of an after thought if can still find it after the smokey nut flavor is finished with your palate. The tartness is still there that provides a dry finish. My only major gripe is that this beer is surprisingly light-bodied and tastes slightly watered-down. I guess the sticky-sweet aroma just had me fooled into believing that this beer would pack a little more flavor.

Huge caramel raisin aroma and flavor, strong mineral depth with a bright malty finish. A really nice representation of an english strong ale!!

Dark red brown pour with steady 1/2 finger head. Aroma of roasts, raisins, honey, pepper, tart. Tastes clover honey, soy sauce, raisins, rum, nutty. Dry finish with some bitter.

A nice brown body with a thick bone color head? That had good retention and some lace. Aroma had a strong nutty profile upfront and some nice mildly roasted malts. Flavor had nice balance between roasted malts and a pecan like flavor. A mild sweetness and slight dry in the finish. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. This is a fun and spicy brew that is as good in July as it is in December.

12 oz bottle served in a pint glass. Pours dark reddish amber with thin lacy off white head. Aroma is roasty sweet caramel malt. Taste is clean sweet toasty malt with a mild amount of earthy hops on the back. Finishes bitter. Easily noticeable abv, just enough to balance all the malt, which dominates here.

12oz bottle in a snifter. Pours dark brown with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of dark malts with caramel, chocolate, and light roasted notes plus some light spices and some floral hops. Flavor the same with a nice blend of everything. Average texture. Not a bad beer.
