Bottle pour. Pours dark brown with medium head. Has a malty taste that is easy to drink.

12 oz bottle and the label says, "available for 90 days only." Says enjoy by 2/28/2014. So...how is this beer already oxidized? Aroma is cardboard, nail polish remover, and some weird cooked vegetable character. Flavor isn’t too bad considering. Still drinkable, but really would have liked to try this fresher.

Dark amber with big foamy head. Sweet caramel and resinous hops on the nose. Taste- ample grassy hops, molasses and just a hint of Christmas spice. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Best by 23FEB12 A: deep brown with cherry hues. finger of light tan head falls quickly to a sheet of the same. spotty lace. S: smells of metal with some malts and some herbal hops. Pretty weak. T: Dark cherries, sweet malts, some tannins, some hops. Interesting. Nice at warmer temps. M: Medium with fine and prickly carb. O: I’d drink it again, but I won’t stock in the house again probably. Nice color, deep, deep red-brown. The head is average size and dry and sandy looking. The aroma is warm malt and is a bit spicy. The flavor is less malty than I would have thought with the appearance. A bit sour in the finish. Coriander? The mouthfeel is a bit fuzzy.

A decent brew that had too much of a sour aftertaste. But it is a good balance of hops and malts.

Aromas of malt, fruit (perhaps some cherry notes), and a subdued spice character as well. A brown ale with a thin tan head, that shows deep clear amber hues when held up to the light. Nice, pretty well balanced, though perhaps a tad thin. Lightly sweet in the front, with a bit of bitterness and spiciness in the finish. It is like a little brother to Deschutes Jubelale. Some definite cherry notes here. Really does remind me of a weaker version of the Jubelale. If I had not had that, I would think a bit more highly of this. Still this is pretty good.

looks like unfinished walnut lumber, it’s a bit dull. pretty thin head Alcohol is not all that well disguised... There’s not enough malt to mask the alcohol, and this isn’t high in alcohol. Very thin brew. Hop spice is all over; pine blah blah blah... Not as warm as it is hot. Winter warmer my butt. Just another over-hopped interpretation.

Tap at Zeitgeist. This one did not impress me a ll that much. I am not sure I could tell the difference between the regular Full sail Amber and this one. It pours somewhat darker, I could not discern much of an aroma. tastes somewhat malty, hints of sugar and chocolate, but nopsices for example. Not that full bodied, all in all ok.

This brown ale poured with a slight tan head, eliciting a malty aroma. The initial flavor is spicy, almost medicine-tasting, with a bitter hoppy finish. A very unique, but slightly unpleasant brew.
