Nov 25, 2007 Bottle. Poured a nice reddish brown with a light brown, two finger head. Very floral nose, obvious that it is seriously hopped. After tasting, its not as hopped as I would have liked. A prevalent citrus flavor, finishes with a hoppy bite. Overall, it’s good and worth revisiting. Nicely carbonated for a beer that if forced carbonated.

Nov 24, 2007 Nothing special here, but definitely still quite drinkable. Nice copper color with very minimal head. Smells piney with a bit of citrus. Taste is similar. Not very complex. Medium thickness with the perfect amount of carbonation. Probably won’t purchase again.

Nov 20, 2007 Updated: Jun 2, 2008650 ml bottle from South Bay Drugs. This is the winter 2007 batch. Pours a rich translucent copper color with an ample off-white head that slowly fades to 1/4 inch leaving some lacing. The aroma is strong with citrus, pine oil and hops. The flavor is reminiscent of a good pale ale; there is grapefruit, green apple, pears, oranges and lots of biter hops. Mouthfeel is thin up front but fills out to a full and creamy conclusion. The Finish is long and dry with nuts, caramel, and more biter hops. Overall: This is a first rate IPA. Recommended.

Nov 12, 2007 Bottle 2007 - dark amber pour with a very intense hoppy flavor. Not real fruity or malty. Sharp hops. Nice and intense.
