Bottle... Poured a deep amber with a nice looking head. Powerful hop aroma with a dab of barley and malt. I like how the description says, "aggressive yet sublime." That’s exactly why I love good IPAs and this brew is a great poster child for the style. Flavors of caramel, nut, pine, subtle malt and great hop punch.

A pretty decent beer, but nothing special. These guys make good beers and this is one of thier in between ones.

Ok here we are 1 year later rating this same been. 2006 Wreck the Halls IPA This beer has mellowed with age the jack hammers are gone. The wreck has reached a well ballanced mouth feel even some what sweet charaters. still a great buy. This beer has been well cared for, for 1 year and is still tasting well. Unforturnaly I dont believe it has what it takes to age much longer than this. Thats OK all that means is it’s time for the 2007 Wreck to come out Hurray!

Bomber 2006 edition. Pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Strong hops flavor with a slight sweet undertone. Floral and citrusy aftertaste. Good drink.

2006 Edition, bottled. Ginormous, bone-colored head topping a hazy, reddish honey body, and sticky rings and splotches of lace describe its appearance. The aroma, initially metallic, is musty, dog-drool, piney hops, fruit, isopropyl, and honey. Yeasty, leathery honey-comb, and earthy, wet and old, but intriguing. Mouth is medium and somewhat watery, with very little carbonation. As for flavor, there are almost enough hops to provide a dryish finish. I taste sour bread dough--think fresh baked sourdough bread with a doughy center--pine, sugar, apricot, alcohol notes. Once it’s had a chance to breathe, it tastes rather well-blended and lovely. Hops just stick with ya!

22oz bottle pours a hazy orange/amber topped with a cream off white head. A great hop aroma. Tast is also very nice and hoppy. Not much bitter going on. A little sweet. Very tasty.
