Nice slightly orangeish amber color. Head doesn’t last too long, but is OK. Some laces.
Nice aroma, a little more than i expected.
Great tasting IPA. A little different than some, perhaps a little more complex,
Full Sail is a fine brewer of my hoppy favorites, and this is another one.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 28, 2007 (22oz bottle) Lightly hazed copper body topped by a medium beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, pine/grapefruit, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, pine, grapefruit, some bread. Medium body, light resin. Too bad the taste doesn’t live up to the aroma. grant (792), Long Beach, CA/Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 26, 2007 Updated: Feb 1, 2007Very attractive slight reddish orange with mild haziness and long-lasting frothy head. Citrusy, lightly piney aroma backed up by a strong formidable mostly caramel malt presence backed up by a bit of chocolatiness. Flavor is initially quite acidic, orangey and sharp owing to the large amount of hops. Malt presence is not as complex as in the aroma. Ends medium-dry with a bit of a husky bitterness. Nice stuff. robertjm (403), El Cerrito, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 23, 2007 Absolutely beautiful orange color. Head doesn’t last long, but is nice and frothy out of the pour. Very light scent of orange in the aroma. Clean scent. Maybe its my imagination, but sure feels like its there. While its nicely hoppy for an IPA, it isn’t overly bitter. Its a pleasant IPA by my tastes. Too bad its only available during this year’s holiday season. I’d buy this again on a reocurring basis. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 20, 2007 NorCal tasting Jan 07 - Pours out a dark amber color offset by a nice white head. Aroma that first hit me was the malts, but then the citrusy hops comes around. It took awhile, but it did. The malt aroma is the strongest by far. Mouthfeel is full and round. Flavors were malty sweet and moderately hopped. Nothing outstanding, and nothing wrong with this brew.
