brstp (201), Princeton, New Jersey, USA Jan 12, 2007 Bomber. Red amber color, beige head with good lacing. As others have posted, taste is a big battle between bitter, almost puckering citrus hops and cream. Will re-review when I have more time. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA Jan 7, 2007 Bomber from Liquid Solutions. The aroma is a high concnetration of sweet caramel malt and citrusy hops in almost equal parts. The body is tan/orange and holds a thumb thick off white head that is lasting, but fairly bubbly.

Piney, lightly citric hops make up the netirity of the fore followed by smooth sweet malts that are caramel tinged and transitioning into a bitter, sticky feeling, finish. The mouthfeel is slightly oily, sticky but is otherwise fairly full and enjoyable. raphael (411), Portland, Oregon, USA Jan 5, 2007 its an aroma struggle between hops & malt that the caramel wins just barely, the hop aroma remains subversive. nice carbonation and a light weight on the tongue, aromatic. hops dominate in the flavor, piney & a little sticky, clashing a little with the malt which is a little unfocussed, more than toasted but less than roasted. ChazMania (408), Pasadena, California, USA Jan 5, 2007 Bottled. Maybe I have been having way to many DIPA lately, but this does not taste like a hop forward beer to me (contray to other reviewers). It’s texture is perhaps more frothy/creamy than other ipa. I’m surprised in a good way that this is not as spiced up as other holiday type offerings. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA Jan 2, 2007 Copper pour with a light white head. Caramel, pine, and orange aroma. Hops heavy up front, lots of resin without much citrus. Malt and caramel are close to follow. Finish is a decent blend of both. Decent IPA. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA Dec 29, 2006 2006 bottle. Beer is clear, medium-hued caramel brown Head is initially small, white, frothy. Mostly and quickly diminishing.

The aroma is malty with light notes of toasted grain, caramel, trace of shortbread; Hop-driven with moderate-to-heavy notes of resin/pine, vibrant grapefruit peel, light thyme-like herbal and dried apricot, trace dried orange zest, cedar; Yeasty with just a trace of funky dish rag; Light miscellaneous note of spicy alcohol.

The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter, lightly acidic with a long, lightly acidic, lightly bittersweet, slightly warm finish.

The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.

Hopped-up, but not out of balance. Bright and citrusy. alexanderj (2213), Chino Hills, California, USA Dec 27, 2006 Updated: Apr 24, 2007Rerate. Only addition would be that it makes a refreshing warm weather beer...Bottle from Bevmo. Poured a brownish-orange, medium fluffy white head. Aroma was bold; citrus hop. A crisp, fresh smell. Flavor was pretty unusual for an IPA. Malt, bread and hops. Pretty good palate. Some citrus and floral notes. mjg74 (1995), La Mesa, California, USA Dec 24, 2006 Bottle from BevMo. Poursa medium brownish/ruby color. Sweet and sticky hoppy aroma with a fair amount of malts. Bready malted hoppiness rightup front. Well balanced flavors. Not overly hoppy.
