| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 21, 2006 Tremendous clean hoppy ale with little aftertaste and light on the palate. Pours hazy and unfiltered, nice sized, bubbly head. Smells of cascade hops and x mas trees. Great hoppy taste for an instant, then it bubbles and dances away until the next sip! bhensonb (4245), Woodland, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 18, 2006 Aroma of citrus and pine hop. Lightly reddish amber color with a vigorous light tan head. Very floral start, almost rose. Smoothly sweet malt plays against tart and tangy hop. Very good mouth feel; very smooth. Finish drops off to moderate hop level, but it has that piney character that will not go away. asteele8 (270), Mukilteo, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a nice off-white head on top. Aroma is big with hops. Grapefruit and pine hops are in the aroma with caramel malt coming through in the background. Flavor is much like the aroma. Very similiar to Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. Overall a decent IPA. | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 12, 2006 Thanks to Jake for this one. First of all, let me state that this beer is huge in aroma, taste, and palate. i really thought it was an IIPA. The pour is clear deep copper with ruby egdes and a 2-finger off-white head. The aroma is perfect, with big tropical fruit, hops, some caramel malt, and soem wintry spices. The palate is on the hefty side, with flavors of hops,m tropical fruit (tangerine, mango, papaya), some resiny peaches, and some spicy apricots. This beer is outstanding! glkaiser (1164), Seattle, Washington, USA
