| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 19, 2004 2003 Bottle. Deep golden brown, good sized head and good lacing. Aroma is citrus/pine and toasty. Palate is almost chewy and full of malt. Nicely balanced between sweet and hoppy - neither side really takes charge. While I enjoyed this, it really wasn’t anything super special. frylock (1024), Buffalo, New York, USA

Fruity. Resinous. Notes of pine and passion fruits. Balanced by a sweet caramel taste. An enjoyable hop flavor with minimal bitterness. Watery texture. An enjoyable brew. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA

<P> 2006 Bottle opened Jan. 07. Clear, deep amber colored with a very retentive light beige head. Great lacing. Strong piney aroma, modest caramel sweetness. Medium bodied. Quite hop forward, pleasant. Very drying hop presence, piney/resiny flavors. Nicely done, deserving of a re-rate and a higher score.
