flowery, piney, citrus nose; sweet, quick front with a grapejuice, hop-wallup that lingers forever and is a bit astringent; too unbalanced for my taste

yet another beer from the taps of toronado. brown body with some head peaking through when held to light.no head to speak of.the aroma contains hay, malts, earth, and lots of hops.the flavor is pretty much the same.this is a good session brew.

2003 Bottle. Deep golden brown, good sized head and good lacing. Aroma is citrus/pine and toasty. Palate is almost chewy and full of malt. Nicely balanced between sweet and hoppy - neither side really takes charge. While I enjoyed this, it really wasn’t anything super special.

Golden brown with a nice thick white head. Great citrusy hop aroma, hints of mango and melon as well. Juicy hop flavor, notes of lemon, some light malts in the background. Not bad overall.

Considerably sweet for an IPA. Good soft cookie flavors. Well hopped, with some citric, lemon, floral notes in the end. A nice, crisp medium finish. Nothing too overpowering.

Leather. Hoppy, fruity and medicinal aroma with a touch of green melon, grapefruit and herbs. Fruity. Resinous. Notes of pine and passion fruits. Balanced by a sweet caramel taste. An enjoyable hop flavor with minimal bitterness. Watery texture. An enjoyable brew.

Bottle. Hoppy!! Very hopped in aroma and flavor. Malt is just overwhelmed with the hop juice in this one. I think the Sunspot was a better IPA for this brewery.7/3/7/2/13 <P> 2006 Bottle opened Jan. 07. Clear, deep amber colored with a very retentive light beige head. Great lacing. Strong piney aroma, modest caramel sweetness. Medium bodied. Quite hop forward, pleasant. Very drying hop presence, piney/resiny flavors. Nicely done, deserving of a re-rate and a higher score.

2004 version. Sampled at marinaro500’s post-Thanksgiving gathering, provided by BBB63. Cloudy yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Piney, grapefruit rind aroma, a bit caramely. Very sharp caramely body, some fruits, grapefruit rind, and pine. Maybe a tad floral. Medium-bodied. Decent beer.
