22oz bottle. Murky brown orange color with a thin film of white head. Citric and grassy hop aroma with chalky caramel and alefruit. Sweet raisin and caramel malt flavors up front. Citric metallic hop character percolates underneath earthy tones. Spicy, herbal flavors in the finish, some alefruit. Mouthfeel is medium, somewhat dry.

650 ml bottle from South Bay Drugs. This is the winter 2007 batch. Pours a rich translucent copper color with an ample off-white head that slowly fades to 1/4 inch leaving some lacing. The aroma is strong with citrus, pine oil and hops. The flavor is reminiscent of a good pale ale; there is grapefruit, green apple, pears, oranges and lots of biter hops. Mouthfeel is thin up front but fills out to a full and creamy conclusion. The Finish is long and dry with nuts, caramel, and more biter hops. Overall: This is a first rate IPA. Recommended.

Good, but nothing that I haven’t tasted before. Hoppy, blah blah blah. Overpriced at $5.49 for a bomber, when I can get something like Left Hand Imp Stout for $3.99.

Copper, little head. Intense citric hop nose, hint of bready malt underneath. Bitter, piney, grapefruity hops dominate, just atouch of sweet malt to balance things. Dry, bitter finish. Viva la HopHead.

Poured from a 22oz bomber (2007 version) and served in a shaker. This IPA poured a highly hazed amber with a one-finger thick head of creamy beige foam. Some nice lacing was left around the sides of the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of fresh oranges, lemon zest, pine, and a ton of sugary caramel. The flavor consisted of grapefruit, peach, and mild caramel. A nice amount of bitterness, but the beautiful caramel malt found in the aroma didn’t really show up in the flavor. The mouthfeel was light to medium-bodied with mild carbonation. Thin and watery. Looked and smelled good, but it was all downhill from there.

Very nice microbrew. Aroma is very strong. Appearance is brown with a clear finish. Mouthfeel is strong and very hoppy. Almost like a ESB. Flavor is strong for an ipa with excessive hops. A very nice winter brew

Getting my notebook online. Bottle. Pours a hazy amber. Lots of hops on the nose, a bit of caramel and pine too. Lots of floral flavors in the taste. Hints of honey and caramel. Pretty good beer

Draught. Poured deep amber with lasting white head. Much hoppiness in the aroma, with a bit of pininess. Deep hoppy flavour with warmth, tastes stronger than it is. Wonderful hoppy finish. It may be just luck, I was in the mood for a good IPA and this hit the spot nicely.
