2011-03-14. Lightly hazy golden orange with a modest beige head. 3+ Modest hops, light caramel malt. 7+ Flavour is similar, pleasant hoppy bitterness throughout, resin, mild caramel character to the malt. 7+ Average bodied palate. Definitely more IPA than Winter Warmer. Tasty, enjoyable. Bottle from Premier Gourmet, Buffalo

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Brandman (1067) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 23, 2012
Dark amber body, khaki head. Aroma has sweet caramel, raisins, some piney hops. Flavour adds gimgerm malty bread, caramel. There is lots of sweetness, but still the bitterness seems to come through. It is ok, but something is missing to be better.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Derek881 (729) - Frederick, Maryland, USA - APR 27, 2012
Poured from a 22oz bottle into a trumpet glass to drink. The beer had a cloudy orange-amber color with an average-sized foamy white head that had low retention with some lacing and cling. Its aroma featured a nice blend of citrus and pine hops with a touch of candy and caramel. The beer tasted fairly bitter and grainy with a bit of citrus and a slight sour effect at the finish. Its body was fairly thin and dry with a good bit of carbonation and a lacing mouthfeel.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 rosenbergh (3494) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 26, 2012
650 ml bottle. (Brewmaster Reserve 2010). From Brooklyn, NY. Courtesy of Brandman.
Murky brown colour with small light tan head.
Sweetish caramel malty aroma with some hoppy notes.
Flavour is moderate hoppiness, darkish maltiness, some spices, between sweet and dry. Very, very drinkable. No flaws. Slightly boring.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 burg326 (1113) - Florida, USA - MAR 27, 2012
22 ounce bottle that poured a copper color with aromas f caramel, pine, and grapefruit. Flavor is the same, run of the mill IPA in my opinion, don’t know how this is a seasonal for Christmas time.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Fatehunter (160) - - MAR 14, 2012
Poured into a tulip glass. Copper color with a half finger of head.
Rich smell. Usual citrus: lemon and grapefruit; there’s another spicy note.
Tastes malty and bitter, surprise! A heady brew, the malt (not sweet) and hops just tumble around. I like it but it’s confusing.
Crisp texture, medium body, and moderate to high carbonation.
"Wreck the Halls" fits. It’s a big, bold fun mess.

Has a cloudy bronze color, hoppy aroma. Taste is piney hops up front, some citrus, a small amount of malt balance. Overall a pretty good beer.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 rob6239 (228) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 14, 2012
Pours hazy and deep gold in colour with a thick frothy white head that laces the glass. Aroma of earthy and pine hops is there but subdued. Taste is smooth with only a very slight bitterness. The aftertaste that follows up is almost sweet.
