Bottle. At first blush this doesn’t impress as anything special. It looks, smells and feels like any of a jillion other APAs out there. But on the palate, this has an above average spicy kick in a fully flavored and well bodied ale. This could be a fridge beer. (#5429, 2/7/2014)

Bottle from Shawan Liquors. Pours golden with a thin white head. Has a bit of pine on the nose. A bit maltier on the tongue than I prefer. Has a slight hop bite on the finish. It’s drinkable but not particularly compelling.

The flavor has a more pronounced hop presence. Solid citrus and earthy bitterness paired with the crackery malt notes. Light to medium body with average carbonation leading to a medium bitter finish. A pretty solid pale ale.
