Bottle - Best by 21/May/09, ok an extra year of aging. The aroma is a little stale kinda woody. Pours a nice copper/brown with a big off white head, mostly lasting and excellent lacing. The taste is bitter, lots of bite. The body is medium, the texture creamy a touch sticky. The carboantion fizzy and the finish bitter. Not bad maybe sat on it too long.

Medium-dark amber brew with low to medium carbonation. Slightly sweet nutty aroma. Complex flavors with deep roasty malts and raisin notes. Almost smoky, but not quite. Pleasant, clean roasty and balanced finish. This is a top notch beer.

Bottle. Average sized off white dense fomay head (persists) over a dark amber/garnet body. Aroma of dark brown sugar, leather, toasted bread, dried fruits. Taste chocolate, brown sugar with a significantly bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth, low carbonation.

Bottle. Pours redbrown with a white head. The aroma has got notes of chocolate, hops and rotten vegtables. The taste has got some roasted malt and also some doublebocky rotten vegtable malt. Also some hops and a smokey tabacco like thing going on in the aftertaste. Overall a very complex beer that would have needed a bigger body the get all things togheter. Still quite interesting.

pours a clear brown color with a nice thick head and great lacing. Dried fruit aroma and some decent dark bread notes as well. Great raisin & dark rye bread flavor. It’s almost addicting. Overall... a great brew!

Abio (1058) - Waasland, BELGIUM - AUG 6, 2010
Pours out redish brown. Medium sized, pretty good holding head. Sweet fruity smell with some caramel and spices. Seweet caramel and some spices at the taste. Sour-bitter finish after the sweet start. A bit of a disappointment, expected more from this beer.

Murky burgundy colour. Intense woody aroma with lots of dark fruit. Thick, rich texture. Very strong, fruity flavour. Overall it’s a little too sweet.
