This is fantastic stuff. Rich, flavorful, ale-y fruit-y-ness. A little butterscotch. Hop levels were nice. Serving: Bottle

Caramels, nuts, toffees, a bit of dark fruity character. Really nice drinker on top of great flavors. Just a very, very, very good beer in all ways.

Bottle. Aroma malty, caramel, liggt roasted, typical English. Clear amber to brown colour. Moderately stable head. Taste is quite sweet, malty, caramel, light roasted. Some hoppiness, earthy. Moderate bitterness, but still much more sweet. That ratio lingers even into the finish. Overall good English strong.

JKaranka (47) - Cardiff, WALES - NOV 6, 2014
Pours a nice amber / orange with a one inch white head. Smell is slightly metallic with caramel and English hops. The taste is surprisingly hoppy but in a smooth and gentle way: lots of orange marmalade mixing with the slight chocolate and caramel from the malts. It’s not particularly bitter but it has a tingly hop quality to it that gives way to caramel and malts. Very drinkable beer from Fullers.

From 0,5l bottle, BBD: 21 OCT 15. Pours deep hazy dark reddish brown liquid, big frothy tan head, Aroma: strong candied fruits, raisins, vanilla, warming alcohol, Christmas sauerkraut soup with charcuterie, walnuts, Taste: medium sweet, medium bitter, dry, fruity, raisins, caramel, malty, Palate: medium body, creamy to oily texture, soft carbonation, long bitter sweet finish, Overall: very good one, aromas are much richer than taste, body is not so full, but texture is excellent. Perfect drinkability.

Bottle. Full and intense beer filled to the brim with biscuits and fresh, slightly citrusy hops. The residual sweetness is countered by a slightly chocolatey bitterness. Immaculately balanced and dangerously sessionable brew. Fabulous!

Ambrée limpide, grosse carbo, collet fin et persistant. Aromes très caramel mais relativement faible. Palais assez mince et a nouveau très caramel. Amertume sur final assez long.

500 ml bottle shared by Huhzubendah, thanks Matt! Pours a clear dark caramel brown with thick white head that leaves sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, brown sugar, and a nutty complexity. Flavor is same with medium body, moderate but ideal carbonation level, and a nutty sweet finish. Solid.

Bottle of 50cl. Very nice and strange taste because of her complexity (caramel and roasted, and sweet too), helped with very nice palate and colour. One of the best beer i’ve taste (in her kind). Cheers !

Dark brown with great tan head. Good lacing. Aroma is loads of toffee, spice, prunes and English fruity yeast. Round and sticky palate. Aftertaste is rich, fruity, spicy, caramel and some noble hops. Overall: As good as English ales gets.
