Best English Ale I have eer had, very good Bottle Conditioning. Fruity in taste, good creamy head with a hint of licorice giveing it a bitter sweet taste. I wish i would have bought more. Very Very Impressive. If you like the strong bitter sweet Ales from England this is one to try.

Deep amber color with foamy, not white head that dissipates rather quickly. Color is extremely impressive. Smells of malt and alcohol. Tastes of very rich malt. Great beer.

Malty smell with hints figs. Cloudy copper with a creamy thick tan head. Smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Taste is good, but I was expecting much more after the wonderful nose of this beer. Good malt backbone with a slight fruity yeasty note, and a hint of caramel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Bierzwerg: Deep amber and hazy colour with big white head. Aromas of biscuits, orange, citrus, dried fruits, caramel. Malty taste, with caramel, toffee and dried fruits. Medium body, average carbonation, bitter finish! Overall, one of the most balanced beers I had!

Mahogany reddish colour with a tall and handsome head leaving a neat lacework. Very, nutty and fruity aromas. Dry and hoppy ale with a long, bitter aftertaste. Typical notes of nuts and caramel. Pleasant

Aroma is very hard to detect...very faint cola notes is all I pick up. Light brown with a firm finger thick head. I get the fruit cake notes mentioned the Commercial Descrip. and in fact this is VERY bready. Mild spice in there as well. The cake/bread notes are extremely long lasting and start from the middle and stay well into the aftertaste. I like beers like this that have a feel good aftertaste that lingers a long while

Deep tan colour with small but fine beige head. Aroma is malty and fruity with some toffee and nuts. Flavor is, as said in the commercial description, almost fruit cake like.
