3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Eructoblaster (2043) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 5, 2004
Superb amber/ruby body topped with a thick off-white foamy head. Nice malty/hoppy aroma with woody and spicy hints. Taste is delightfully complex and well balanced. The first stages of the mouthfeel are smooth and fruity. Then it becomes more and more bitter. It ends with a nice, long, and lightly oaky finish that leaves a subtle warming effect. The ideal beer on a Friday cold and rainy evening.
