This is an incredibly good beer. An aroma of fruit cake spices, raisin bread, chocolate, and toffee. Appearance was a nice, deep chestnut brown/cherrywood red combo with a nice fluffy head. The palate is rich and warming, full-bodied and incredibly smooth. Flavors were a tasty combo of sweet malts, raisin bread, spiced cake, dark chocolate, toffee and cream. Just another great beer from the guys at Fullers. The Brits come thru yet again!

Dark brown with ruby hues. Spicy hop aroma with some notes of fig and other fruits. Rich malty beginning with a bitter finish. Basically a kicked up ESB. Very enjoyable.

light brown color,Small off white head that left a slight lace.Malty aroma with a light spice and mild fruit presence, along with a mild caramel showing up.Malty spicey taste with a fruit side and plenty of hops. The after taste comes off as a nice hop bitter with a light spice and malt, but much heavier on the hops. The after taste is spicy and hoppy with a nice malt side thrown in.This is a very nice brew much better then the other brews coming from clear glass have been.Worthy of a nice score.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2010 One of the most beautiful beers I’ve ever seen. Deep, deep red color. Thick, slightly reddish head leaves sheets of lace for the whole glass. Fruity malt aroma. Front is slightly sweet. Flavors of apple, caramel, and alcohol become more pronounced as the beer warms. Dry, slightly acidic finish. Full flavored, well balanced, and delicious.

Pours a cloudy caramel brown with a thick beige head. Huge malty nose. Mildly hopped with a big malty flavor. Very nice.

Courtoisie de HogTownHarry. Couleur de terre cuite, pas beaucoup de collet. Arome réchaufant de maltes et d’épice. Goût d’épice et de fruit du vergés. Une vraie délice!

550 ml bottle. Dark pour with a white head that lasted most of the glass. Decent lacing throughout. Aromas were very malty. Caramel, Coffee. The flavors were more of the same with some roastiness in there too. Very tasty. Very nice finish with some hoppiness. I liked it.
