Serving: 500 ml. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a beautiful clear amber color with a large head of light tan foam. The nose leans towards the lighter side with some caramel, slight grain, and bread notes. The flavor has a slight metallic twinge. Lots of malt there. Very bready with some caramel and dried fruit. A little bit of dried, leafy hops and a lingering bitterness on the back end. Some tea perhaps. The alcohol has a drying effect which is nice. Medium to full body with slightly lower than average carbonation. Nice.

Dark amberish-copper color, nice lacy off-white head, sweet & malty balanced aroma, full-bodied & nicely balanced, had some very heavy & complex flavors, a bit of a hoppy aftertaste but very smooth & drinkable

Bottle 50cl. Amber brown beer with nice head and good lacing. Smell is caramel and malty. Aroma is amasing on roasted, caramel, malty and chocolate, very long and nice flavor, heavy bitterness on the finish that goes well with an agrume hops character. Quite sweet very creamy, a great beer off course, a good experience, very nice specially the dark chocolate note.

Bottle. Dark brown amber body with loose beige head. Nose is woody with a caramel flavor. The taste is slightly bitter with a light alcohol bite. The overall flavor is very woody and nutty. The finish is very smooth with just a little hint of wood. This may be the worlds bet session beer. Great beer.

Garnet body with tan head. Very malty nose, caramel. A full feel in the mouth. Robust. You know you’re drinking something. The flavor is malt, nice sweet maltiness. I don’t get the "fruit cake" promised, and I’m one of those people who actually likes fruit cake. But this is a good English ale.

Aroma is nice, malty, bready, with notes of fruit, toffee, and unexpectedly, a bit of chocolate. Appearance is very attractive, semi-opaque, red/brown, thick off-white head. The flavor is fruit, bread, toffee, very bready, very good. Again a slight bit of chocolate. (?1?) Finish starts malty sweet, seques into a strong floral hop bitterness. Excellent. Mediium/thick mouthfeel. Very nicely crafted all ther way around.
