Wonderful beer. Aroma has got oranges, tobacco, dried out old barrels. Sweet, sticky, very deep flavour. Lovely finish. Thick creamy head unlike anything Iíve seen from a bottle.

Dark, amber in colour with a thick, creamy tan head. Roasted aromas intertwined with hints of fruitcake. Full bodied with a rich, dried fruit taste up front, followed by a toasted, bitter finish. A well rounded beer, but too much of a roasted flavour for my personal taste. However, the roasted flavours give way slightly to sweetness as you drink it.

Bottle that Justin shared- cheers! Deep amber with a middling white head. Good rich mouthfeel. Grain harvest taste up front followed by a smooth fruitiness- sweet blackberries maybe with some raisin notes. I think I was expecting something barley wine-ish like their vintage ales, whereas this is more like a souped-up bitter, so I was a little disappointed. Nevertheless itís still a jolly good beer- just not quite up to what I expected from the reviews on here.

Pours dark caramel with small tan head out of bottle. Aroma of caramel, biscuits, and bitterness. Flavor similar to smell. Good bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It looks great. Taste is all about a heavy load of caramel balanced by a heavy load of bitterness. A very fine, very amber ale, though not for me.

Pours a clear, deep mahogany with a light tan head. The smell is dark roasted malt, licorice, dark fruit. The taste is rich dark malt, licorice, some spice, dark fruit, molasses ending dry and rich. Medium bodied with a fine carbonation. Overall, a nice rich beer with a lot of flavor.

Bottle. Caramel, caramel, caramel - aroma and taste, as well as palate. Full, some burnt sugar. Nice though not too exciting.

Aroma is sweet crystal malts, caramel and fig. Taste is sweet slightly roasted malts with a very faint trace of plum and raisin. Transitions into a slight bitterness that is very well balanced.

0,5 l bottle. Clear, dark amber with a thick, creamy, tan head. Aroma of plums, caramel, candy sugar and coffee. Sweetish taste of plums, caramel and candy sugar with a bitter finish of coffee in the end. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, flat carbonation. Very good but not brilliant. The coffee in the end dampens too much of its fruitiness. Moaning on a high level though.

Hazy reddish brown color, minimal off-white head. Sweet caramely notes, fruity tea bag. Taste is also caramel, fruity, bit alcohol and wood. Boozy. Some sweetness and bitterness. Bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy. Not bad.

Pours an amber color, topped with a decent tan colored head. Malty aroma, roasted, with some caramel notes and some little alcohol. Taste is sweet, roasty, some caramel notes and bitterness in teh finish. Slight alcohol notes in the aftertaste. Ok, not that bad.
