Wonderful beer. Aroma has got oranges, tobacco, dried out old barrels. Sweet, sticky, very deep flavour. Lovely finish. Thick creamy head unlike anything Iíve seen from a bottle.

500 ml bottle shared by Huhzubendah, thanks Matt! Pours a clear dark caramel brown with thick white head that leaves sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, brown sugar, and a nutty complexity. Flavor is same with medium body, moderate but ideal carbonation level, and a nutty sweet finish. Solid.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle of 50cl.
Very nice and strange taste because of her complexity (caramel and roasted, and sweet too), helped with very nice palate and colour.
One of the best beer iíve taste (in her kind).

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark brown with great tan head. Good lacing. Aroma is loads of toffee, spice, prunes and English fruity yeast. Round and sticky palate. Aftertaste is rich, fruity, spicy, caramel and some noble hops. Overall: As good as English ales gets.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
"not strong for a strong ale, but very smooth and quite flavorful. slight spicy, fruity hints play with the overriding malty goodness. recommended beer..."

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle poured in a chalice
A: Beautiful bottle art. Nice and imposing Fullerís style. Also beautiful amber color with a beige head formed when poured. Small retention but many lacings left
S: Sweet and fruity smell. Caramel and malts are evident. Notes of brown bread and grapes. A bit of citrus hops in the end
T: Very malty and Brit but also fruity. Bit sweet upfront followed by quite citrus hoppy end. Absolutely easy to drink. Impossible to imagine its medium ABV
M: Medium body. A bit molasses. Medium to low carbonation. Delicious bitterness
O: Great Beer

Bottle 0.5l. Clear amber witn medium beige head, nice lacing. Aroma of cherry, honey, malty, some caramel notes. The taste is as the nose, balanced bitter-sweet flavors, a bit woody. Light carbonation, medium body. Semi-dry sticky bitter aftertaste.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - red with a frothy and rocky light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, roast malt and grass. Taste of roasty malts, tar and toffee with notes of earth and grass coming through after and an ending of cocoa and medium bitterness. A little hint of alcohol, which isnít unwelcomed. Medium body, low carbonation.

Bottle conditioned. Glowing amber, slightly hazy, poured with a beautiful head leading to lovely lacing. All the superlatives used in previous reviews are justified and Iím not going to plagerise - go deeper with this beer; close your eyes, itís the beach, thereís sea spray coming off the breakers and you can smell the sand and scrub grasses. This beer is an amazing triumph of brewing expertise but itís more than that, itís a total sensory treat.
