Finally got to try this one. Bottle from the London Pride store in Ljubljana. Poured a dark amber-red body with a big off white head that went away slowly. Sweet full malty nose with some dryish bitterness. Coffeish sweet malty, slightly bitter and roasty taste, having some light herbal notes and ending empty. Oh come on, this is ok but nowhere near 3.8!

It was ok. The smell had me a bit worried, as it smelled sickly sweet and of lots of molases. Luckily it didn’t actually taste like its aroma. Overrated beer.

From Bottle 0,5 L., aroma; sligt spirited. Amber-brown color with an impressive white head. Had a bitter aftertaste, that I did not particularly care for. Not my cup of ’tea’..

At a tasting, thanks mom and dad, small stable head, a touch hazy deep red colour, aroma of toffee, dried fruits and caramel, flavour of hay, tobbaco and burned sugar. Bitter and a bit unpleasant aftertase. Dissapointing.

Nutty, bread aroma and looks like a dark amber/light brown color with superb head retention and lacing. Flavor of standard ales, with notes of malty goodness and a strong hoppy finish. Uneventful palate and overall this is a pretty good ale that i’ll hopefully gain a better taste for. Cheers!

Pours a reddish amber with a tan head. Very hoppy in aroma and flavor. Not my favorite style but definitely a well brewed beer.

Brown body, red shine, creamy beige head; Fresh fruity nose, some malt, but mostly fresh fruit like apple and pear; Soft body, at the same time fruit acidy with some sharp carbonation; Bitter acidy finish with lots of malt. Alright but not very interesting.

Initially has the appearance of a raspberry ale though it takes on a more amberish hue. Nice cream head and highly carbonated as small bubbles cling all over the glass. For the first 10 minutes or so, the beer had a chlorinated taste/mouthfeel. After considerable warming, the qualities of this beer seem to unwind. Subtle honey malt fragrance and a light malt spicing in flavor (a tad skunky/mildewy) at first. This beer has a dryish finish and has the feel of a red ale/esb--I am not certain what English Strong Ale qualities this beer can be said to have.
