Creme espetacular, muito consistente e persistente. No aroma, muito lúpulo perfumado, o qual continua no sabor, levemente tostado. Final longo, levemente seco e amargo. Cerveja pra quem, como eu, é "lupulomaníaco".

Bottle. Pours a deep amber with a large off white, dense head that left a lot of lacing. Aroma is very malty with lots of caramel and dried fruit. Flavor follows aroma -- large and round with lots of malt, bread, caramel, dried fruit. Alcohol is present, but not too powerful. Palate is thick and a bit oily. Balance definitely tips toward sweet malt, but the finish has a nice hop presence. Delicious!

This was a birthday gift to myself; I’d heard how good this was and was anxious to try it. I wasn’t disappointed. The bottle and label are simple and very handsome, in a traditional English style. It poured with a thin but pretty off-white head that left fair lacing. The color was a lovely reddish copper-amber. The aroma was rich and quite strong, with obvious hop bitterness and some sweet, fruity notes beneath. The frutiness comes through more strongly from the bottle than a glass. The flavor was even richer than the aroma, quite bitter and just on the edge of too hoppy for me, but with each sip more of the smokiness and malt came through. It was a real challenge to my low-hops tastebuds, but it really grew on me. The tail was pretty smooth, with a noticeable but pleasant bitterness at the end. The alcohol kick is strong. In fact, this is a strong beer in every sense. That very strength can be a bit overwhelming, and I am not sure that I really like it as well as the Fuller’s ESB. But this is a great beer nonetheless, even if one a night is all I could handle. Another triumph by Fuller’s.

500ml bottle Clear dark brown, almost reddish color. Smells caramel, malts, hops. Flavor is lightly sweet and acidic to start, then finishes moderately bitter.

500 ml bottle. Deep reddish brown colour with a thick whitish head. Strong aroma of fruits and flloral hops. Flavour is fruity, mostly citrus, with a strong, dry, hoppy finish. Perhaps the best Fullers I’ve had so far.

So glad i found a bottle of this. A reddish brown coloring was topped by a magnificent head in my glass mug. Lots of sweetness comeing off the smell that reminded me of berries or mellon. malty taste with a bit of yeast and just a kiss of bitterness in the end. a dry finish makes me bring the mug back for another sip every three seconds. If you see this, buy it.

Bottle, tfs rick. Aroma is nutty, roast, some malty caramel.. Flavour is roasted malt, coffee, some nutty notes, long lingering hops and roast and keeps developing. Great stuff.
