Thick hazed, sepia tinted copper with a thick, ecru head. Bisuity malts and lemon cookie aroma with the lemon showing in the flavor amidst thick tea and sharp herbal bitterness. Smooth and creamy with an aftertaste of pastry. Delicious.

(bottle) Amber colour with yeast particles and a beige, medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and toasted malty aroma with caramel, subtle fruity notes (elderberries) and a touch of woody and spicy hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toasty malt-character with caramel, licorice and subtle fruity notes, backed by spicy and woody hops.. Almost dry, slightly burnt bitter and sweet finish with gentle woody hoppy notes. Extremely rounded and flavourful strong Ale (22.II.09).

Poured a beautiful clear amber-brown with a 1-finger tan head. Aroma of hops, mildly fruity - but mostly hoppy. Flavor... oh yeah, there’s hops in here. Lots of ’em. Bitter, in a good way. With a nice touch of malt. Palate is smooth. Carbonation doesn’t get in the way at all, and there’s no detectable alcohol to hide any flavors. Yet another great beer from Fuller’s.

500 ml botle bought at Systembolaget, Luleå, Sweden. Lots of roasted malts. Very nice aroma; cereal and christmas pudding. Very long and lively aftertaste, with the taste of the roasted malts and the bitter-hops lingering in the mouth.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a 2 finger creamy off white head. Lots of fruit and spices. Caramel malt, lightly bitter. Light etoh orange and cherry. Everything coming together in a great balance. Great!

Pours brick red with a beige head. Looks amazing in the glass. Fruit, sweet malts, some caramel, toasty, some whiskey, oak, and light spicing. Medium, smooth body. Flavor is full of spices, caramel, toasty malts, dark fruits, alcohol, and light roasted malts. Finish is somewhat bitter with alcohol noticeable. Very drinkable even at 6.3%. Fantastic.
