Appearance - This beer poured a nice amber color with a descent off white. Smell - Interesing aroma here. Nice smells of fruits and some breadiness. Taste - Very interesting with a nice breadiness or biscuit like taste to it. The fruit really is present in the taste. Mouthfeel - A very full and thick body with medium carbonation. Overall - damn good beer.

Pours dark brown with a light off-white head. Aroma is fruits and malts. Deep and rich flavor is malts, fruits and hops. Very nice indeed.

Bottle 20oz: Coming from a mostly wine, bourbon and whiskey world to beer. It amazes me the complexity of the finer beers and how they embody qualities of wine and whiskeys, and the prices are silly affordable. Anywho, another great beer from Fuller’s, although I like the ESB a litter more since this requires more concentration. Aroma is christmas fruit cake - in the good way. Flavor is complex with dried fruits and baking spices with some bittering hops. Alchohol is tingly and finish is long. I’m enjoying this.

ClubGonzo (1732) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 2, 2011
Bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a deep coppery red body with a medium, long-lived creamy off-white head. Light caramel and toffee tones dominate the aroma, with hints of nuts and grains. Taste is deep roasty grainy caramel tones with some nuts and layers of sweet malts - all exquisitely blended. Another British-style classic ale from Fullers, who rarely disappoints. Solid stuff.

A really good strong ale, it is even nice to look at in the glass, with its dark colour and creamy head. Fair bit of malt in the aroma and in the taste, but not overpowering. Liked it a lot!

500ml bottle cellar cool. Lovely spicy orangey aroma. Pours dark amber with a white head. Fruity marmalade and dundee cake flavour with warming alcohol. Delicious.

Rich copper red. Nose; bready, apples, dried orange peel, very complex. Flavah; sharp bitterness, heavy especially in the finish. Dried fruit are prdominant. Should let warm.

Bottle. Another winner from Fuller’s! Pours a lovely golden copper with an off-white head that lasts well. Nose is packed with notes of toffee, rum, golden syrup, banana and malt. Very smooth mouthfeel with flavours of caramel, brown sugar, malt as well as a very nice bitterness that blends very well with the sweeter notes, although the beer isn’t as sweet as it sounds. Very nice indeed.
