Thick, foamy head, rich pomegranate in color. Fruity, some spiciness, with a strong hops flavor in the aftertaste. Good, but I wasn't blown away, and because of the price I doubt I'll buy it again.

Aroma is sweet crystal malts, caramel and fig. Taste is sweet slightly roasted malts with a very faint trace of plum and raisin. Transitions into a slight bitterness that is very well balanced.

Zlotta (102) - Bonn, GERMANY - DEC 16, 2014
0,5 l bottle. Clear, dark amber with a thick, creamy, tan head. Aroma of plums, caramel, candy sugar and coffee. Sweetish taste of plums, caramel and candy sugar with a bitter finish of coffee in the end. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, flat carbonation. Very good but not brilliant. The coffee in the end dampens too much of its fruitiness. Moaning on a high level though.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Clear amber body with a beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma of earth, wood and nuts. Flavour of orange marmalade, wood, toast and caramel biscuit. Medium body with an oily texture. Light carbonation prickle. A lovely beer, like a quality Bitter but with the aroma and flavour dialled up.
