3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good colour slightly hazy yellow from the bottle conditioning . Delicate hop aroma not too strong for an ipa. Fullers usual malt in the background. Well balanced medium bodied beer.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Subtle malt, detectable english hops aroma.Nice and clear with large white head that is retained well. Rich amber in colour. While flavours are not powerful they are well balanced overall with a good synergy of hops and malt. Mouth feel is a little weak but again balanced well with the flavours. Not an overpowering beer, but a nice drinkable one that would be a good introduction to craft beer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
My first true English IPA. I didnít realize there was a difference, and this might lead to my initial disappointment. A friend brought this back from London. Poured a very light orange color. Scent had mild citrus and tea. It felt light on the tongue. Not the bitter I am used to. More herbal tasting. It felted pretty balanced. Not what I am used to in an IPA, but I do believe if I had one again, I would enjoy it for what it is....not what I was expecting it to be.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice and expected from Fullers. It kind of reminds me of Sam Adams, nothing too off the mark or outside the box, but always dependably good.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brown orange color with white head that does not last very log. Some weak fruit aroma. Sweet in taste with not that much hoppyness. Medium body. Not very well balanced. Expected a bit more from this one.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Waitrose. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Light carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of metal, herbs and grass. Flavour of earth, herbs, faint citrus and biscuit. Leafy hops. Medium body with a frothy, spongy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. An old fashioned British IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aka Fullerís IPA, (why make "Bengal Lancer" to main alias for this bottled UK classic?) bottle Maruhn 12/2013. Light UK IPA, trditionally hopped in moderation with leafy tea-like hops, smooth and slightly cheesy yeast profile, peach and raisin marmelade. Could do with some more body to give it more presence and an lingering aftertaste.
