Cask: Regular (but not permanent). Also available bottle conditioned (at 5.3%). Bengal Lancer is a traditional India Pale Ale, pale amber in colour, distinctively hoppy and highly refreshing. Itís notable for floral and spicy notes from the hops, and a finish of mild bitterness. A version of Bengal Lancer is brewed specifically for the export market, known simply as Fullerís India Pale Ale.

Pours a hazy, deep gold, with a medium, white head. Typical Fullerís hops dominate aroma. Flowery. Dryish, flowery hops and malty fruitiness dominate flavor. Dryish, slightly bitter aftertaste. Fairly mild carbonation, medium body, dryish mouthfell. Standard Fullerís fair -- good, but not particularly exciting.

In bottiglia da 50cl. Aroma di caramello, mou Al palato ancora in evidenza il caramello seguito da un amaro secco e leggermente erbaceo, che bilancia la dolcezza senza lasciare troppi sentori.

Pours a copper colour with a small but long lasting white head. Aroma is citrus with sweet malt. Taste is nicely balanced sweet and bitter with quite a long dry finish. Pretty nice and decent!

Buona birra.

Ravfarget med hvitt, holdbart skum. Fin humlearoma med engelsk humle, ellers noe svakt maltpreg med karamelltoner i aromaen. Lettdrikkelig. Fin balanse malt vs bitterhet. Litt metallisk ved oppvarming. Litt mye CO2.

I wanted to taste an original India Pale Ale from the mother country, and I thought it would be plainer tasting than the Americam and Danish varriations and less hoppy. But I actually think itís pretty good and well hopped. So kudos to the old country! I tasted the bottle conditioned one by the way. The one called "Fullers India Pale Ale".

Bottle gushed when opened, pours a hazy hazy golden orange with fluffy white head that leaves good lace. Aroma of apple sweet fruit over sought earth and pale malts. Taste is more balanced, but still really sweet and toward the apple. Meh.
