Bottle & Keg; Filtered & pasteurised.

Brewed with a combination of five different malts, some heavily roasted for a near jet black appearance, and beneath its dark exterior features luxurious red berry notes, toasty aromas on the nose and culminates in a dry, bitter finish.

Bottle from milk store. Pours clear dark brown with light beige head. Faint nose of roast, berries, chocolate. Light body, nice and bitter with watery palate and a slightly toasty finish. Good enough for a low abv stout but a bit watery for my tastes.

Straightforward example of the genre. A bit lackluster in aroma and taste to be honest, but very easy to drink.

Bottle from Cool Wine 140416. It's heading towards stout weather so I'm getting in early. Smooth burnt flavours fill the mouth. Super dark in colour with a slight head. Hints of chocolate and vanilla in the finish.

Bottle. Thank you Ian. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of light roasted malts, light chocolate. Taste is light sweet, light bitter, light roasted, light chocolate. Light roasted aftertaste. Not bad.

Draught.pours almost black with small beige head. Aromas od roasted malts, light roastiness, some caramel and biscuits. In taste medium sweet with dry and lightly bitter and acidic finish. Nothing shocking but perfect example of english beer to drink in huge amounts in pub.

London Black Cab • Aroma (10/10): Miel, fuertes caramelos, suaves flores, café y chocolate; toques cítricos lejanos.

Nearly black color. Lightly carbonated. Not overbearing aromas of coffee, a bit of chocolate, roasted smell, a touch of berries. Nice balance, but on the bitter spectrum. Tastes of burned coffee, herbal hops, with a lingering chocolate finish. A good dry stout.

Nice aroma and looks but is let down bu a slight lack of body in the middle, but as an alternate to other stouts this is a bit of a winner

50cl @ bottle. Stout sufficiente, beverina in cui predomina l’amaro. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

A new one to me. Looks like Guinness, smells like Guinness but packs much more of a punch! Head is Ivory white and lingers throughout the whole pint. A good effort from fullers!
