Brewed with a combination of five different malts, some heavily roasted for a near jet black appearance, and beneath its dark exterior features luxurious red berry notes, toasty aromas on the nose and culminates in a dry, bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with somewhat small head. Very nice dry stout. I honestly prefer this to Guinness. Not the same mouthfeel but way better roasty flavor. Chocolate, coffee and bread. Nicely hopped and a dry finish.

Bottle from a Bargain Booze in Buxton. Pours black with a cream head. Not much in the way of aroma. The taste starts with moderate spice and roasty notes, but it’s the finish where this beer comes into its own with some great creamy chocolate flavour. A very solid stout.

Very nice stout. Pours a glass of black beer. It has a rather rich aroma (especially when you keep the it’s low alcohol percentage in mind) of malts and licorice.

Nera, schiuma beige chiaro. Buona al naso, malto tostato, sapore molto equilibrato tra dolce del malto e amaro di caffč, corpo ottimo. Davvero una stour ben riuscita.

Tastes like guiness. Maybe a bit more flavor bit only at the end. Nothing in the beginning nothing in the middle. Inky the end offers a light chocolate and bitter taste. Tap in Bath, England.

Bottle. One-finger coarse beige heads dissipates after a couple of minutes. One aroma group is sweet dark fruit like dates and cocoa powder. The other is a pleasant but acrid bitterness like old leather. Taste is primarily highly roasted malts, but complex. In the long finish some hop bittering comes through. Low carbonation is perfect - anything higher would push the acidity over the edge.

Ja, visst, hel del kaffe och mörk chockad. Känner inte den fylliga smaken som var utlovad.
