Bottle: Aroma is mainly roasty with dark chocolate notes and roasted cacao beans. Almost black color, brownish head. Flavor is malty, roasty, slightly fruity, notes of dark chocolate, mocca and burnt malt. Bitterness and cacao powder in the end. Nice.

Pitch black body and stable large tan head. Nice chocolate and dark brown bread malts, rye, even some raisin. Very rich taste for the abv, honestly impressed. Not just the first sips too, but all the way until the end. Very nice to drink, rich yet never thick or too much. Very bit surprise as I had solid expecting but even these were exceeded! (50cl bottle from Saveur BiŤre)

Pours almost black with slight brown clarity when held to the light. Fluffy tan head which holds well. Aroma is soft chocolate and roastiness. Very smooth but thick mouth feel. Roasted coffee forms the back bone which thins out to a creamy coffee and subtle chocolate bitterness. Nice beer and very easy to drink.

500mL bottle purchased at Total Wine Arden Sacramento. The aroma has a fair roastiness with a bit of an underlying mineral character, too. Some anise also makes a presence. Somewhat transparent dark mahogany body with a strong, persistent light tan head present. Starts with a fair roastiness, before this becomes quite chalky in the middle with lots of mineral flavors. Becomes metallic and penny-like. Finishes with a little more chalk and roast. Not a huge fan of this.

Barwa: ciemna z rubinowymi refleksami, klarowna.

Bottle from Waitrose and drunk at home. black beer lasting thin tan head. Itís a run of the mill stout, not that this is a bad thing. A bit of blackcurrant fruit, a bit of roast. Some dark chocolate, some roast. Little bit of harsh bitterness on the finish. Itís fine. Certainly drinkable. And a good balance of roast and blackcurrant. Yes, decent.

Atlanta, Ga - Total Wine - Perimeter - 500 ml bottle. Dark black pour, thick mocha colored head. Aroma of fresh lake water, a touch of licorice r make it a bit more interesting, Flavor is pretty solid with some black coffee notes, a touch of bittersweet bakerís chocolate, a brief visit from some berries; a hint of black licorice in the back end. Mouthfeel has a nice dry chalkiness to it. Pretty solid everyday stout.

Bottle, 50cL. Home. A pitch black beer with a large thin beige foam. Good persistence. Roasty smoky aroma, herbs, caramel. Medium bitter, light sweet. Medium body and texture. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish with a sweet sugary note. I liked this stout. Classic but well done.

Keg. Appearance is very dark, almost completely black with a slight ruby tinge around the edges. One finger persisting creamy head. Roasty chocolatey aromas, hint of liqoruice, blackberries. Taste is full and creamy, roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruits. Smooth and drinkable, with quite a long finish. Very nice.

Very dark brown color, almost completely black, thin grey head. Medium body, soft carbonation. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee. Medium sweet, medium bitter taste. Finish is surprisingly dry. Little bit thin, but nicely balanced and very enjoyable.
