Bottle: Very well balanced true solid dry stout, smokey, with notes of sweet malt. Finish is clean and dry. Food Pairing: Oysters.

Very dark musty aroma, the taste is less promising and the palate isnít that full. However, the aroma makes up for it. Small beige head, slightly see-through body.

Keg at the new One Over The Ait. Big tight beige head over a near-black body. A little red fruit and coffee on the nose, roast malt and lightly ashy-bitter body, faint milk chocolate notes, creamy texture and a creamy-dry finish with more light ashiness.

500 ml. bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. BBF 08/02/2015. Red copper, dark mahogany, blackish brown with basically no head. Smells like rotting dark fruits, molasses, old furniture and liquorish, reminiscent of Belgian beer in some ways. Taste is deep mix of liquorish, old furniture and molasses, Belgian touches, rotting fruits, bitter herbal & leaves aftertastes (not very heavy). Surprisingly thick body, cough syrup & liquorish. There is almost something Christmas / Belgian to it. There is also too much rotting fruit, leaves, herbs etc. for my taste. I feel like I am trying too hard to like Fullerís. Feels stronger than its ABV & feels like it has some age on it as well.

Pitch black with a dark head. Smell is wood, sourwood and liquorice, dominated by apple fruitiness. Almost chlorine-like. Taste is full and n oily, much more than the smell suggests. Nice bitterness and a wholesome breadiness. Beautiful balance.

From 0,5l bottle, BBD: 24. MAY 15. Pours all black liquid, small creamy tan to brown head, Aroma: smooth nice aroma of espresso, milk chocolate, caramel, Taste: light to medium sweet, medium bitter, light sour, coffee, chocolate, Palate: medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, long roasty mild finish. Overall: quite good, could be more pronounced, but at least it is very drinkable.

A very dark brown, going on black, with a beige head. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. The taste is of coffee, chocolate and red berries. Nice dry finish without being too astringent or bitter. This is a really good example of what a stout should be. The flavours are superb and there is a really good balance. Very high drinkability. It demonstrates that a beer does not be strong to have complexity and a great taste. One of my favourites - even the label featuring a black London cab is great!

Bottle - deep dark red with a fluffy light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, roast malt and a bit of coffee with a little vanilla and caramel. Taste is lightly toasted malt, a little chocolate, earth and grass with some light bitterness to finish. Thin body, light carbonation. Okay.

Sehr dunkles Glas, Schaum bleibt leicht Łber dem KŲrper erhalten. In der Nase sehr schokoladig. Schmeckt cremig, leicht bitter. Aber was fŁr ein Abgang. Erst stark bitter, dann Kaffee, dann Schokolade.

Draught. Red-black, clear, small off-white head. Vague aroma. Vague mild flavour of weak coffee grinds, roasted malt, burnt toast. Light body with at least some bitterness. Average.

Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, sweet chocolate, some coffee notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a medium bitter finish. A bit on the thin side. An enjoyable, easy to drink Stout.
