500 ml bottle. Clear, sparkling, deep black colour, long-life medium sized frothy medium beige head, slight roasted and cocoa aroma, from light to medium body, soft carbonation, sweet cream malty and dry roasted taste, roasted palate with moderate earthy hoppy notes and with dry fruity notes (especially plum, prunes and raisins). Well-balanced and smooth Stout style beer. Fine.

Dark pour from bottle with ample tan head. Roast malt biscuit aromas. Roasted malt coco flavors. Tastes ocher than other 4.5% stouts. Paired very nicely with a mild white Stilton.

Big roast aroma with dark chocolate notes. Not much head or lacing. Silky smooth mouthfeel revealing roast, dark chocolate, and fresh bread malt. Not especially bitter. Very, very tasty with excellent palate. I love this type of stout. Great stuff!
