My rating # 1000! Sample from 50 cl. bottle, 2009 "Vintage", bottle # 06679. Deep amber colour with a golden tint, thin off-white head. Fruity aroma with rich caramel malts, toffee, lots of fruits, oak, vanilla and a touch of whisky. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body, creamy texture. Finishes sweet and fruity with rich fruits and malts. Very good. Has aged very well.

Pours copper color with a small head. Aroma of ripe fruits, caramel malts, toffee and some wooden notes. Flavor of caramel malts, fruits, toffee, mild wooden notes and some hints of sugar. Nice.

Chris O’s Fullers/Gales Tasting Feb 2012. Tasty notes in this. Age. Cardboard. Very drinkable and pleasant. Nice.

Aroma has oaky notes, toffee, some caramel, whisky and hints of alcohol. Flavour has whisky notes, oak, toffee, some caramel, hints of berries and alcohol. Matured well, too bad that this was my only bottle.

Bottle shared by Saxo. Clear amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit, wood and notes of whisky. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 160113

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich fruit, lots of wood, some whisky, caramel, malt and hops.

500 mL bottle at the Ship in Wokingham. Chestnut brown with a prodigious head, hugely fizzy. Lovely, whisky, dates aroma. Smokey, whisky, fruity. Very nice and hides the alcohol a little.

0,5l bottle (shared by FatPhil, thanks). 2012-07, BB2011. Bit hazy dark mahogany color. Huge beige head. Lots of raisins and some sweetness in aroma. Very little whiskey too at the end in aroma. Cognac, raisins, some fruity sourness in flavor. Well aged.

Bottle. Pours a nice hazy amber color with an off white head. Aroma is of marmalade, oak, whiskey, spice notes, dark fruits, toffee and caramel. The flavor follows the nose with lots of marmalade and forest fruits, some dark fruit, toffee, caramel, oak, spice and whiskey. The body is medium with a almost creamy mouth feel. Overall probably my favorite so far in the Fullers Brewers Reserve range.

Gyllenbrun med lagom skum. Tydlig doft av humle, sötma av karamell och farinsocker, en del alkohol slår igenom. Rund, balanserad och fyllig eftersmak med smak av cognac, ekfat. Ingen beska.
